Thanks for those great shots, it’s rare I get professionally captured. (I’m the guy with the beard testing 0-coasts)

Thanks so much, man! I had such a great time hanging with ya'll, listening to the Streets of Rage soundtrack and talking about Twin Peaks.

I met Tony in 2009 at NY's No Fun Fest. He needed a table to set up on and I had room on mine so I said sure. At the time he was trying to sell and get people interested in the QMMG. That weekend all of my touring gear was stolen. Tony was super nice and supportive and offered to hook me up with some modules if I ever needed them. Long story short is I did and ended up doing some beta testing on the DPO. I really enjoyed seeing this video because it's great to see nice people succeed and because I haven't seen him since 2009. Also chance would have it that I went and saw his band every time they came through Saint Louis because they were quite good and they only band I knew of back then doing Suicide covers in their set. Good times.

A wonderful story on a wonderful company. Make Noise is one of the reasons I enjoy Eurorack synthesis so much and I've been in the modular would a very long time. It's people like these that have brought new life into electronic music in such a creative and amazing way. Thanks to Vintage King for documenting a story that needed telling and again congrats to the incredible Make Noise crew. Keep up the awesome work.

You guys need to keep making videos like this. It makes me understand that my hard earned money is going to someone that has also earned it. I think this is where the world is going and I think this type of personal touch is very inspiring. Mark my words this is the dawn of the new mom and pop brick and mortar world that will consume the giant.

Awesome, not only these super original machines that are works of art, even the building those are made in matches that whole spirit. Love it.

Excellent video! Make Noise is one of my favorite synth companies, I love the thinking that goes behind their modules.

First modules I got were Make Noise (Optomix, René, Maths and a STO) and I've been hooked ever since. I had these modular units for almost 18 months now and I still find out new things. There is a depth in Make Noise that is hard to find in anything really. So honestly, a big thanks, because this company has truthfully made my music sound better

So cool. I got into modular fairly recently, after almost 30 years of playing guitar. I’d always had various cheap synths, but never anything remotely modular. I recently got my Moog Grandmother, and Mother-32/DFAM rack, and just spend every bit of free time, learning anything/everything I can about modular synthesis. Make Noise inspired me to build a modular synth , and I’m currently awaiting a 104hp powered skiff from them. They have become my favorite modular company, and I’m lucky enough to live near a store that sells nothing but synths, and is a Make Noise Dealer (along with some other cool companies like Mutable Instruments, Endorphin.es, 4ms, Intellijel) Gorgeous modules, and this video has def inspired me to fill my skiff with 90% Make Noise modules. I was apprehensive about doing an entire modular synth with the STO, XOH, Maths, Mimeophon, Erbe Verb, Rosie, and Wogglebug. Or a different configuration that is Rene, STO, Telharmonic, Maths, Wogglebug, L&D, Moddemix , Rosie (which ends up being the Black Cartesian , so I’d probably switch something like the Rene and Telharmonic out, but I’m getting a bigger case in a few months, so I guess it doesn’t really matter, as I can move, and swap modules) I have a Mutable Instruments Clouds module coming second hand, and I absolutely love their modules as well. I guess having a store that sells all these modules will make it a bit easier to decide exactly what I want, and I had pretty much all Make Noise modules configured on my Modular Grids layout, but I know that having all Make Noise modules is looked down upon by a lot of fanatics in the synth community. I suppose it’s pretty obvious that their modules are pricey, but seeing videos like this , confirms that these are exactly the type of people I really want to support.

This is great. In fact the story had just completely sold me on an entire MakeNoise system I had been debating. I choose to support that, I thought to myself...

Cool. I wish I could build a synth. I wonder if they would train someone? I really LOVE my 0-Coast. It is probably the most fun of all the synths I’ve played or owned. Thanks for sharing this!
