Demo of me playing a Leslie 18 cab that I scored after long long search! Going for some Philip Sayce and Jesse Davey type of sounds. The Leslie 18 has a 12" speaker in, whereas a Leslie 16 (aka Fender Vibratone) as a 10" speaker.
Audio recording is not great; it sounds a bit thin, but with headphones you should get the idea. Recorded on very low volumes (neighbours) and you can actually hear the acoustic sound of my strings.
I use a two amp setup to have full control of the amount of leslie that I blend in. Here is a rundown of the gear:
Guitar - Barber Direct drive - Line 6 Echo Park (set on tape delay). From the delay the signal splits into a Fender Super Champ XD which drives a 2x12 cab (Eminence Cannabis Rex speakers) and a Fender Vibro Champ XD which drives the Leslie 18.
