Part of me thinks you're nuts for spending that much time and effort on a beat-up rusty cabinet. But the other part of me is very impressed by what a great job you did on it and that it's not going to a metal scrap heap or a landfill. Very nice.
I was having second thoughts about your choice of final color but you had exactly the right idea. What could have been a boring little cabinet is now an eye-catching work of art. Wonderful job of restoration. Thank you for sharing!

It’s more a project than trying to save money on a cabinet. I have a different metal cabinet that I found. My daughter wants me to refinish it for her room. The cabinet was free. I have tools including stripping gel. The most I’ll be out using the paint. It’s a three shelf cabinet with a door. No drawers so I won’t need drawer fixtures. And my daughter will love the fact that I did it for her.
Great job on getting it all back in line and straight. Looks like a very time consuming job. Stripping all that paint looked like a lot of fun. Well done 👍

You could have muted out all the noise. It was unbearable and gave me a headache even fast forwarding; every section was a bunch of loud banging, grinding…will never watch another one of your videos.

Don't worry, the rusting has been stopped. It is in very good condition now. Rusting is all about moisture. Even if you sandblast, if you have a humid environment, the rust will come back the same day. If you want, write your e-mail address and I will send you the current photos of the table.

This is the perfect video to watch while drinking my coffee on a lazy Sunday morning. There is no way I would take on a job with that much paint stripping because I hate doing it more than anything but it was seriously satisfying to watch it peel off the cabinet. Absolutely beautiful! I have one jyst like it that my dad gave me that was my grandmother's. I need to fix it up so I can use it. But no way can I do all those repairs. I'll do my best. These are worth saving. Memories from my child hood

You have done a great job of repairing and cleaning all the metal in the cabinet. I really like the result. I would have given the hand of anti-rust spray paint. The results of painting with a spray gun are smoother and better finished than those painted with a brush. Good job!! Thanks for share!!
