I am repairing a pair of old Pioneer CS-A500 speakers. The foam surround on both tweeters is cracked and dry, but the drivers are working fine. I'm creating new cloth surrounds to match the colour of the rest of the drivers.
Very cool, the cloth in my Pioneers are ok, but I wondered how one would go about replacing a cloth surround. Looks like it would have been a lot more of a pain without the paint as a stiffener.
Do something to the audio recording, its absurdly bad, specially for a guy that thinks he is into hifi stuff.. also you can remove the cap by heating it slightly and center the cone properly.
