Got this fan at an estate sale along with the Evergo “banana” fan. Not sure why the canopy was fucked up but was more than likely so the fan could be installed with a power cord. Towards the end of the video you’ll see some numbers on the blade irons and flywheel, those are so the blades can go on in the same order, this fan had a severe wobble with other combinations, it took some trial and error to get it resolved. There is still a minor wobble but not enough to be concerned. This fan also would constantly “howl” on high speed since the motor resonance would reverberate through the blades, I tweaked the blade arms slightly to allow the motor to run ever so slightly faster as to get it out of that harmonic zone. The fan itself puts out a lot of air, especially with that k55 motor under the hood. The motor is non reversible. I did drip a little oil in each bearing to help soften the hard grease as the bearings were sounding a bit raspy. All in all a nice fan, far better than any of the shit made today. The startup sound at the end will show the “howl” referenced in the description above. Excuse the shitty half assed wiring, this is just a quick test spot and I don’t feel like fucking around with junction boxes.
