This is AWESOME! Those short wrap arounds are just like in the 70's Classic Sesame Street - Car Wash video found in youtube. Although conveyor speed is way too fast and wrap arounds don't do much. Still extremely good find 👌
Yes your correct!! In the video that car wash had over 7 small wrap arounds and 3 top brushes and all of them were filament. I really want to know the address of that exact same car wash they used in Sesame Street. I know it’s somewhere in New York but that building looks very vintage.
@@MichiganCarWashes Yea I think your correct It's hard to see them because of the camera quality back then. There's a video of the old school Sherman equipment and its like 30 mins long and I compared those supersonic dryers to the ones in the sesame street video.
a Beautiful sight ..... to see an old unit like this still in action. All that is missing are the "pinwheel" brushers. Curious if someone from Hanna Systems could see this and think.... all these years and still running.
Well, I found some pinwheel brushes at Clearview Car Wash in Hanover Pennsylvania, but not filament, and did not touch the car. The system, however, composed of extremely rare vintage dryers (old-school with hoses, but not a drop-down.)
Besides the top brush refurbishment, I’m pretty sure most of this equipment is Hanna! They do a really good job of taking care of the filament and keeping the brushes functional! Dryers are great too.
I agree with the dryers! Also, yes, besides the top brush, the system including the mitter is original, but maybe one point the squiggly cloth replaced older material.
@@blazebrodypc2006official the one that was in the Car Wash movie was in California I believe. Sadly, that wash has been torn down years ago and it’s now a shopping plaza.
