What will happened, if low KV (578 rpm per volt) airplane "brushed" motor will be placed in 1/8 scale RC car??
I had this idea for longer time. Now, when I've got all needed components together, so why not to try it?!
Motor is Graupner Ultra 3300-7 with Robbe 890 ESC and on 6S Li-Ion battery.
I made a lot of different custom parts, like engine mount, difefrent gears to compansate lack of rpms, brake servo mount in place of original tank and so on....
I was very nervous before first test, but it's working excelent!!
Just few small problems to cure.....
Peak of current close to 51 ams is not bad at all, calculated power around 1200 wats isn't real for sure, as it's calculated from peak amps, not current at the speed.......
