I have a collectoon of 12 including this xl pro. 5 ev2, 2 Ev3, 2 Ev4. one of the eb2 has the pink trim. The are great to ride and a 95 veloce for the bad weather.
This Mega frame wasn't the same as Marco used. This one was the same coloured, but mid version 7005 retailed frames etc. Marco didn't use this frame as it was too heavy. He used the lightest Evo models. The Shamal wheels aren't titanium wheels. The titanium refers to a titanium axle fitted in the hub. This said, the bike here is a good representation to the one (in looks) that Marco used in some flat races. He never uses deep Shamals in hilly races.
sorry for the long response time, I hope that everyone who rides bicycles as I do knows that when it says titanium on the wheels, the rims are not made of titanium and there are only a few parts on the wheel and that also applies for rear derailleur and shifter and actually pantani has also used campagnolo shamal and sometimes combined with another wheel, you can see it in some of the old pictures and what I build my bikes after.
