Thank you, Thank you, Thank you - for making this technique simple to follow and for taking the time to show your watercolor and cardstock steps. I do not know about you but I get all excited about mixed media then sit down to play and get scared and talk myself out of it. I think it might be time to get a little messy and just play. 🙂
You definitely need to be in the mood to get a little messy but it is a lot of fun once you try. Plus it’s just paper so have fun and play if you don’t like it set it aside and look at it the next day. You might be surprised with yourself.
Julie, these layouts are so lovely. Your layering of the embellishments and all the Inking was perfect for these papers. I loved the tiny additions to fill in blank spaces. And the way you did your title was a plus. Never tried that so learning something new is always nice!
I love these SOOOO MUCH, Julie...all the details, all your gorgeous flowers, all your ink Distressing, all the small little elements (cork shapes, hearts, splatters)

Wow!! Julie that was an incredible 30 minutes watching you design & finish these layouts. I loved the inside of the flowers used that way as they really added to the cluster, and it was good to be reminded of the controlled way of tearing as I had forgotten that little tidbit of information. I shall be coming back to review this layout again, that's for sure!! 💕
Absolutely stunning pages Julie. I love how you prepped all of your papers with the distress oxide inking before cutting all of your flowers out. So many wonderful techniques resulting in gorgeous layouts.
Throughout the video I caught myself saying "WOW" over and over again. I've never seen anything this beautiful before and I am so glad I found your channel. Simply Gorgeous!!!!
