May I ask is there a specific reason as to why those are mounted with horn in horizontal vs. typical vertical position? and the knobs on these models control lf to hf balance? I ask as am in middle of project that isn't exaclty hifi but am mounting a 12trxc in a older kustom ss guitar amp for a FRFR application practice use and will be getting speaker shortly ...also how is the midrange on the whizzer as far as balance in comparison ? thank you for your time and those cabinets look very nice btw
Some of the most gorgeous cabinets I've ever seen! I recently picked up a pair of Aristocrat cabs-one with a 12TRXB, the other with XP12 and T35. They sound nice, but not much bass. I've toyed with tall standing cabs like yours, but there isn't much info out there. Can you share cabinet details? How is the bass? Thanks
Thanks. It's my own production Yes you're right. Bass is not too deep but very venerable. Speakers are not recommended for rock and pop music, but they sound very well for classics and jazz.
The Aristocrat speaker cabinet (Paul Klipsch design) is truly a corner speaker. To optimize bass it needs to be placed in a corner and then "tuned" by moving in and out to find the sweet spot. The 12 TRX is also happier with a proper tube amp. I have multiple pairs and love them to death.
there is much info as far as specs avialable online although I am unsure if the trxb and c are similar but if so volume recommendation for c was 5.25cuft If remember correctly for hifi application If can find links will post as doing different project so some info won't be useful to you
