Great Tutorial, Thank you. Can you tell me after you put layers into folder and then create a new solid colour layer which you attach to the folder so that you can change the colour of font etc. I can't seem to do this in CS5, is there another way to achieve this.
Just a friendly tip, you can easily center objects and text by hitting Ctrl+A on the layer and then using the Align Vertical Centers and Align Horizontal Centers buttons at the top of the program frame. Also, I had to perform an extra step to access the smart object. I had to right click the layer and choose Edit Contents. Loved the video. He is risen!
I'm not new to Photoshop, but I still found new information for myself. Your video contains a lot of useful information that can be applied in different areas. Thank you for video ;)
I didn't find the image on unsplash and I didn't really find anything else that I thought fitted the vintage text so I just copied your url and got the image
Thanks for the video, though have a question. Is this how you would create an overlay that is reusable? If so what would be the specs it will be saved at? I volunteer my photography for animal rescues, and have ended up purchasing these overlays on etsy, etc. and think I need to stay on a budget & make these myself, though don't know the *best* way to save them.
You move to fast for me, I just want a text logo to not have sloppy edges on a black background. on a print environment Perhaps this may help, so far its just confusing to keep up.
