A visit to Hopkinson vintage store in nottingham, vintage cameras, jewellery, clothing, decor and games from the 60’s 70’s 80’s 90’s stuff and much more .
Great staff and wonderful experience!
I’m not an expert, DIY is my hobby and these are just my views, opinions and thoughts. Dont do what i do assuming it is the correct way, i just show what i do.. this is certainly NOT a how to video.

Hey my friend good to see you. I'm glad you took a day off and went out that's nice but it's very nice. And I don't blame you I love antique stores. We have a couple of huge ones here in Houston and I spend a lot of time there. Great to see you buddy and have a wonderful day, love the video

Thanks for the Vid Rob......Seeing the cassette recorder took me back for sure....... I still have and use all my old cassettes as I have a proper music centre...... Im planning a visit to Nottingham soon so would love to stop off there and the armysurplus store you highlighted...... Would be really helpful if you could put the postcodes up when you do a vid like this .....This place looks like Helmswell antiques centre ...( DN21 5TJ ) .......has everything!!! I went to the bootfair there on sunday which was massive as well...... bought a few bits...... keep up the good work and thanks!!

@@WeekendShedHead when I was a kid, my neighbor and good friend was from Great Britian, I got really good at soccer and cricket. My friends dad was a Drum Major. The real thing! We also played a game using chestnuts on a string. I think it was called conkers or something like that! You swing your chestnut into your upponents to try to break his chestnut! It was a great l8fe!

@@lotsabirdsyes 😃 you’re thinking of conkers.. all kids used to play it 👍 first one to break was the looser.. I think we used to dip them in vinegar (or something similar ) to toughen them up. It’s no surprise but I don’t think kids these days play it though.

That was good fun! Ive got some of that stuff still here. A few coins, the View Master ! And the old cameras stood out to me! Of course, the cuppa coffee looked darn good! Next time, lets see the Sheriff's Office! Lol! Great job!

Hi Rob, Looks like a fantastic place and Nottingham looks like a lovely city. I've got that Ladybird book The shed and I was thinking the same, Rowland "AKA Reggy" sorting out his screws out in to order. Hope your wrist gets better soon mate, have a good one Take care

Hey Rob, I was about to start to make a film about the types of head that is in that ladybird book so on doing further investigation. Oh I didn’t realise what they were and there is one particular one I am sweating on but don’t worry it’s now the end of the week I will have the film done by the end of Tuesday, if all the stars align I think we could call this a challenge that isn’t a challenge And send it off to scouts Crafter
