I’d like to see a updated version ! Boy that’s some pretty maple , where did you get the wood from , I’d like to do some trading on some cherry burl that I have / lol .nice blades .
Thanks. It was guitar headplate material given to me by an Australian luthier friend. I had a ton, but I think I only have 1 or 2 left. I need to stock up. This is where I intend to get them from. www.lmii.com/146-wood-headplates
Very Nice collection, take it as a compliment your an artist of restoring straight. I wish i could be that agile and patient whit my bands lol, some peoples has great hability and you got them. Take care Gino
I believe I know the Ernst name. The other is not familiar to me. But that doesn't mean anything. There are literally thousands of old vintage razors out there, most of which have obscure names on them. If it is a vintage blade, and it says Solingen, it is going to be good.
+ShaveNontheDarkside Thanks. Do you mean to prevent rust, etc? A light coat of mineral oil is all I use. Ads for removing rust and patinia, that's a whole other ball of wax. Everything from a good polish, steel wool, sandpaper, etc. Whatever it takes.
