My vintage gear interest is not truly for collections but fishing with them. In between my guide duties, I made a trip to Yellowstone National Park to fish Soda Butte Creek, which is filled with Yellowstone Cutthroat Trout. I thought that would be a perfect setting to make a debut of my recent acquirements: Hardy CC de France and St George 3".
Every time I visit and fish YNP is special. This time even more so with nostalgic feelings. Nearly 100 years in existence, these vintage tackles still function and have added another trout, even a new species (these were purchased from the UK), to their records.
