Always good to see an old'un putting in a shift, you can't beat a cabless tractor when it's warm & the sun is shining, but when it's cold & wet ............. I'm sure a man of your engineering expertise can sort out the height of the knives on your beet harvester.
Have been watching quiet a few videos from american farmes with huge huge planters, an amazing amount of technology, an amazing amount of equipment preparation, and also an amazing amount of problems when in the field. How nice to see a simple approach.
Agree totally with you on the light box that goes with these machines just couldn't trust it at all spent more time jumping on an off the tractor than sowing 🙄🤬 great to see an hear the 35 just plodding along 💪 heres to a successful growing season 👍
Lovely video, that shot of the 35 coming over the hill with the heat haze and the crows in the background was something special I thought. Also the aerial photography, I remember doing something similar drilling mangold, kale or swedes with a TEF. 20, which I still have and a Webb drill. Ours was a 4 Row I wish I could recreate that scene!. Thank You .
Brilliant vintage Thursday video your dad is dab hand at the drilling we grow a field of fodder beet every year do you how the beet field or just use herbicides 👍
Christ Dan i used a stanhay precision drill simular to yours 1965 vintage we had ours midmounted on a David Brown D2 nice simple drill to set up , and we also had a six row bean spring loaded hoe to row crop after drilling
