Adam, you and Sasha gave us a spectacular episode today. I fully support any organization that does charitable work, especially when it comes to research related to fighting and ending disease, particularly in children. As for the watches in the inventory, all I can say is WOW! the Breguet Tourbillon ref. 3358 is a heart stopper! All the watches in that box were world class. I agree with your statement about the state of the market as well. I learned more about a few of my favorite watches today. This episode was outstanding, thank you for your hard work.😊

My local AD has the newest 40mm Breguet Tradition for 37k....15k for the 38mm is the winner in my book. Breguet doesn't get shown enough love by the masses, excellent value for money

outing that charity the timing is perfectly fair. you don't think they tried to get this resolved behind closed doors? im sure they did and were met with resistance, so the question was made public. people didn't ask the questions so close to auction to be difficult. the questions were not taken seriously, and it was an f.u. to the charity's potential fraud

Suggesting that it was bad timing and One Watch didn’t have time to address the concerns is excessively kind of you. Best case scenario, One Watch was derelict at not having information on hand at all times.

100% agreed, this should have been easy for them to provide the info at any time. Our point was that a lot of brands, small and big, invested a lot of time and money into only watch. Collectors too. Heard lots of stories of people flying in from all over the world to attend and losing money on travel expenses etc. The concerns could have been raised after the sale is all we were saying. No chance the organization is running off with the money the second the hammer falls. From what I’ve heard (unverified of course) is that they were just extremely disorganized…but, the audit will show this is mostly smoke, and no fire. Time will tell.

the charity auction should be transparent from the beginning for many reasons. maybe the brand disagree fundamentaly withncertian charities. and they donate thinl8ng the money will be spent one place not another. and also how much gets to the charity. anything else would be b.s. and ripe with fraud
