Well, Day dates and Datejusts are not much of a prediction as I would guess Bulang and Sons sales consist of 75% of these watches. As the old ones are for small wrists I have urged you to source fewer of these and get bigger watches for your inventory - alas! As you know you sell where the money is, and that is unfortunately with Rolex watches. Imo people are to greedy and lack passion to even consider Universal. Cartier is already hyped - people will loose cash on those. Edit: As you talk details on the watches on the table (and not just in general terms) please provide close-ups - as the viewer can't see what you are looking at. thx for the video.
Hey there! Thanks for sharing your thoughts on our video. We're glad you tuned in! We wanted to provide our perspective on the current collectors' market. Vintage Rolex has always held a special place in our hearts and will continue to be a cornerstone of our collection-it's truly part of our DNA and biggest passion. However, the gold Datejusts and special Day-Dates haven't traditionally been our primary focus. We've always been more inclined towards vintage sports models. Personally, we have a preference for the original gentleman's sizes of 36-38mm, which is also the size I wear most frequently. Our collection doesn't feature many watches over 40mm because I find them less comfortable, but that's purely a personal preference. It's interesting to note that collectors seem to be gravitating more towards smaller sizes, which could be why Cartier is gaining more appreciation than in the past. We've observed a significant increase in interest for these watches lately, marking a shift from when collectors predominantly favored sports models, overlooking Day-Dates. But that's the beauty of collecting-everyone has their own tastes. We're all about embracing the diversity of collectors and the watches they love. Fortunately, there's an abundance of vintage watches and brands to explore. So whether you prefer Rolex sports models or something entirely different, there's something out there for you. Thanks for watching, and we value your feedback!
