This is a masterpiece. Even my neighbors are listening to the song! Whether they want or not. Seriously, it's wonderful. Ultra catchy chrous, drums from hell and blasting guitars with fantastic vocals. I hope that i can see those guys in concert once. I probably would even drive the about 1.3k km to sweden if i had to. Skål to both, stay well!

Hey not that i am not for church burnings but seriously cool it with the unholier than thou bullshit. Anyone who reaches this page is either a fan or has been scrolling through black metal and folk metal and viking metal. Pull the drinking horn out of your ass and understand that this is the internet where people often express sarcasm. Also if you were a scandinavian you would understand that vintersorg did in fact NOT burn an entire forest down to make this video as he is a friggen nature lover as are most scandinavians. Since you cannot appreciate the sarcasm and clearly dont understand where this music gets its themes perhaps you need to re acquaint yourself with ancient heathen and pagan culture or stick to satanic black metal.

I do love the whole work by Mr. Vintersorg but Cosmic Genesis was the start of everything to me related to his art. One of the most unknown Genius of world metal scene today.

Wow, the chorus is FUСKING AMAZING! So melodic and awesome, in perfect contrast with the pagan/black vocals before that. Can't wait to hear the whole album! Will have to visit my journalist friend tomorrow, he has to have a promo :D

Shane Gaglione Mr V have played and play in black metal bands like Cosmic Death and Sorkgnagar. If you dont know, black metal people are satanists who burn churches and murder people. You think they care about burning an innocent forest?! Burzum burned churches to promote his music. Vintersorg burn forests to promote his album.

I SO hope this is a joke...If not, not a lot of people have been murdered in the name of black metal (on the other hand, read how many people "god" killed) and listen to Abbath, he's been in at least 3 black metal bands and he says it's stupid to burn churches and end up in jail...besides, most black metal bands aren't even satanists

Andreas lived for YEARS alone in a barn in the middle of the forest, he's one of the most nature-oriented guys you can find in the black metal scene. Neither him or Mattias have ever murdered or assaulted anyone, their lyrics are always around nature and its relation with man, norse tales/myth and stuff like that.

Very satisfied with the songs that I heard so far. The other songs off this album are just fantastic and inspired. Orkan and Jordpuls (Still great albums) in my opinion felt like they were missing something special, and this album Vintersorg found the Enigmatic Spirit once again. Sounds like a combination of Visions From The Spiral Generator, Solen's Rotter, and Jordpuls. Very good release. Fuck Ya!!

Fantastic song from a wonderful album. I can't speak Sweedish, but I sure as hell can feel the power of the music and engage with it at a much more deeper level than mere human language. Music is, after all, a language we all have in common. May the Gods keep Vintersorg alive for many long years so that we can enjoy a lot more of this enigmatic and powerful music.
