Back at VINwiki for some more car stories, and the delivery of his flood damaged Ferrari 599! What do you think about the gift that I've brought with me?!
Really clever. You should visit Barber Vintage Motorsports Museum in Leeds, Alabama near Birmingham. They have largest Lotus Race Car Collection & largest motorcycle collection, over 800 acres with race track & Porsche Racing Experience is there
While some rain isn't ideal, it's not the "worst conditions possible". I could think of 10 worst conditions just off the top of my head. Its the south. We get rain. It makes things green. Oh, the must-insert-drama-here style of RU-vidr.
Ed could talk about how fertilizer helps to make the grass grow and I would find it fascinating. He's such a great storyteller. Great visit, great episode Tim!!
I live about 20 minutes from Ed and all I can say is that you two are properly brave to drive those roads in the rain nonetheless! Excited to see more of the 599
Probably not too many people notice and just take it for granted, but I really appreciate the chapters in your videos! Thanks for your effort and a safe trip!
This 599 looks to be in great visual condition. Hopefully mechanically it will survive the trip (although knowing CarTrek I’m not holding my breath lol).
I didn't like the last CarTrek nearly as much. Way to much fake inserted drama and 'trying' to be unneedlessly funny. If it's not dramatic or funny... then it's not.
@@timkinley1779 that’s fair. And it’s not for everyone. But that is the Top Gear formula (which they are trying to emulate) and I have enjoyed it. I take CarTrek for what I see it as: 3 guys having silly fun beating the holy sh*t out of cars we could only dream of actually owning. Some of the jokes don’t land, and the drama is fake, but then again isn’t that what reality tv is anyway?
Awesome video despite the weather! Two of my favorite channels on RU-vid. Can’t wait for the @Shmee150 VINwiki stories. Thanks guys for the awesome content the both of you create weekly.
Shmee, its so great to see you here in the USA. your enthusiasm is contagious, i hope you have the greatest time on your road trip, its well deserved sir.
That was awesome, funny delivery circumstances for a flooded Ferrari, in the rain and all, hope it makes a spectucular return to form, thank you Shmee :)
I think this is the same 599 I saw advertised on Facebook by a dealer in VA. Definitely thought this would be an Ed Bolian worthy car, hope it's a lot of fun!
I love the way Shmee is still getting on doing excellent content and essentially thumbing his nose at the British lockdown. He could have stayed home like a good boy and filmed his weekly trip to the supermarket instead.
It’s crazy I almost bought this car it was for sale for months and was only going for 90k when I was lookin into it. Glad someone who could actually take care of it picked it up.
No way!!! Ed is buying Paris Hilton’s SLR??? True story, I was a valet park assistant manager in very prestigious South Beach hotel from 2004 to 2007. In 2005 the Hotel hosted the VMA after party where many celebrities attended including Paris Hilton and I was the one in charge of the parking operations that night. Paris came with her entourage, she was driving the SLR and about 4 cadillac escalades and requested me to leave all the cars parked in the side walk in the front of the hotel, I told her that was not a good idea but she insisted so I told her ok but if there was any problems I would park the cars at the garage "obs: she did not offer any kind of monetary compensation for her request, I just did because it was Paris Hilton and I loved her car". I personally kept the key of the SLR just to make sure no one tried to do something funny. About 30 min later about 4 Miami Beach police cars came and the officers asked "who is the one responsible for these cars in the sidewalk? I said "me officers" and they said "you have 5 minutes to move all the cars or I will ticket them and tow them away" "Yes sir" I replay so I gave the keys of the cadillacs to the members of my valet team and I personally drove the SLR to the garage. Now in order to go to the garage, we had to drive around the block. As I was waiting on the light, 2 beautiful ladies knocked on the SLR's window, I opened and one of them said "Oh My God, I love your car!!" "Thank you" I replied, then she asked "Where are you going? Can I go with you?" I said "Sorry but No... you can't come with me...." The light turned green and I drove off" They probably thought I was Huge A-Hole not knowing I was just a valet park manager!!! 😂 about 2 hours later Paris Hilton came down and asked where her cars were, I told her the story, she was cool about it, I went to pick up her SLR and she left... I have so many Valet stories but this one, is one of the best and its so cool to hear that Ed will buy Her Mercedes which made part of my story. I should be invited to VINwiki to share some of my Valet stories!!
