LA Turnaround’s a great record. One of the few of his I have. I’d like a couple more. I’ve been to his grave in Highgate cemetery a few times. I’d love to get that Kula Shaka album. They often got knocked for being posh boys but it’s a classic of the era. Cowboy Junkies…their best for sure
That’s a great Gentry album. I don’t have that Jansch record, but I pick up all of his records I come across. Nice Tangerine Dream. Trinity Sessions is an outstanding record by a very good band. Great to have those Hawkwind albums. Cheers.
Well done Chris, going down the Scott Walker rabbit hole... You're absolutely correct, the later albums get progressively more expensive.. Scot 3 and 4 being the most expensive. And well done for getting a Mono.. That's on my wish list
Hi Chris All first four of Scotts' solo albums are essential, and you're right, 3 and 4 can be harder to find and nice condition copies are usually pricey..That said before I found the OGs, I had Music on Vinyl reissues of 3 and 4 that were around £25 and they were quality pressings that sounded excellent. Nice Bobby Gentry, I need that one. Great Bert Jansch, always worth picking any of his albums up. Early TD prior to Phaedra definitely has a sound all it's own...I have a toofa with Atem. Nice Hawkwind reissues, it's good to know there are modern reissue pressings that are actually an improvement from the original. All the best. Rob.
