My liner lifted so hard I have multiple leaks. New liner has came in but ground water is still too high to install. Losing around 1" a day now. Pool is down by 15" as of today. I have an old shallow well about 45 feet away. Could a pump attached to it lower the water level?
Until the groundwater starts to recede, there’s not much that I know that you can do especially without well points. Just remember in the future if you have a new liner and the ground water gets extremely high, do not drain the pool because that will cause the liner to float more by taking the weight Off of it
@@ClearlySeen Is there any reason I can't sink a shallow well point a few feet from the pool? Install a pump and try removing some of the ground water?
It’s going to depend on your area. Sometimes the only fix is to keep your water as high as possible in the pool to keep the weight pressing down on the liner so it doesn’t float and waiting for the water to go down.
