Really nice mix :-) I spin vinyl too, and I was just wondering - is that a DJM 500? I have an older DJM 600 (along with the same technics 12s) and I want to start recording my mixes to share on soundcloud, etc. Do you think I could achieve this with a couple xlrs and a half decent audio interface? Any recommendations for software on the computer side of things? Sound quality from your mixes is consistently good. Thanks and take care!
Thank you! In this video im using a Pioneer DJM-700. I have since replaced this with a A&H XONE:PX5 Yeah, absolutely. Many mixers have a REC output which is great for recording into an DAW. I use Ableton to record, but you can use anything as long as you have and interface.
Whats the idea behind pulling the cable slightly at 54:52 and 1:08:45? It makes an interesting almost bass sound, is that purposeful or just a loose cable?
