River Strachan Live in melbourne then, good weather in summer 30-35 and 10-15 in winter. Good beaches too on the surf coast around torquay and along the great ocean road. easily some of the nicest beaches in the world. Also, F1, AFL, Soccer, Flemington cup, Australian open and probably more :P

I agree with you, man. There are really good bands there: Karnivool, Silverchair, Violent Soho, Sticky Fingers (and there must be many others which I don't know)
This is 90's back when they invented 'alternative' to describe music that didn't fit neatly into the categories set by record labels. Bands were putting out a lot of original stuff, regularly, the stuff that made it on radio had to be amazing. But this sounds incredible not just for their creativity and talent but because of the backdrop and the general lack of different in today's cookie cut music world. The industry, like every other, has become far more consolidated and thus homogenized.

+Dave D They sound more of an alternative rock band to me. Alt. rock and pop punk sounds a bit the same but if you'd actually compare alt. rock to pop punk you'll notice that alt. rock is a bit slower and pop punk is a bit faster.
this band is technically lo fi, they're friends with all the other lo fi bands and tour with them, check out dune rats, dz deathrays, FIDLAR and basement(not lo fi) if you dig this band
theres a church based community center in a rough part of downtown in the city where i live called N2N " neighbor to neighbor " there is also a street built D.I.Y. skate park on the basketball courts and a 6 foot mini ramp i will have a small laugh if this ever comes on the radio in the car on the way to skate
You ever notice how all musicians that are foreign to north america sound north american? this guy is Australian, and he sounds american when he sings, all foreign musicians do.

I'm really jealous of the guys on the other side of the world right now. The Aussies with Violent Soho and Husky and Yuck up in England. Hopefully the "grunge revival" deal comes back to America soon.
Pretty good man, I don't think I'll ever get over Jesus stole my girlfriend, that's gonna be a good one to bring up in 20 years :P I like the style keep rocking, I'm pretty confident it'll make a come back. There is a clear absence.
