The drag race fandom is really toxic, one minute y’all will call a season boring if there is no drama and the next butt hurt when there is, one minute y’all will hate a queen for “putting on an act” or “not being authentic” and then when people are authentic it’s “they so mean spirited”. Violet has always been like this, if you go watch her season 7 audition tape she was giving exactly what she is giving now and even said she was raised by Atlanta pageant queens, and any pageant queen especially down south queens will tell you how shady and mean they can be. I would have appreciated it more as an initial bit, and then took a minute to explain that she was on FPR to express her opinions, etc. Keeping the "incredible" going for as long as she did was too much and we didn't get much of value from her appearance.

I never realized how much Queens being eliminated stressed me out until starting to watch this season where no one leaves! I mean, it helps that this cast are all people I could watch regularly for forever - but my all time fave show has now been made that much more entertaining by adding this twist.

I was completely surprised that Chacki kept booting Raja, but not mad. Honestly, Gottmik was the real issue for me. I think if Violet was with someone who was their own person with their own opinions, then her boots wouldn't have been such a big deal. She would've had someone there to counter her opinions and bring a different view. I liked Gottmik her season. I think she shines on her own. With Violet she shrinks and mimics and repeats. Love Violet. Like Gottmik. They shouldn't have been together on FPR. Period.

I kind of agree with you, @xmisato . The last few seasons of FPR have had some ups and downs. The main issue was that they only saw a photo; if neither of the ruviewers got the reference it was always very awkward. Violet is great TV, whichever side of the Gemini perspective she's on. Yet she's especially great when she's with someone who she can bounce off of, rather than someone who places her on a pedestal. I don't think either Queen should be harassed the way they have been. The problem was the FPR opinions pairing rather than the individuals in the pair... they're great friends and I'm sure they'll get through it together xxx
