When katya said every performance of violet could be her last. She really meant it omg the acts are super dangerous but I’d pay everything to watch her shows YAS GAWD💅🏽
It is fabulous and effective, but as an aerialist, this is far from dangerous. Of course there is SOME danger, since there is no safety net, but the maneuvers are very simple. It does require some strength since she is using stocking, that could be slippery, but this is not "a dangerous performance" in the sense that the movements are on the safe end of the spectrum.
There are LOTS of other burlesque, aerial, and cabaret artists out there doing high level productions. Violet is talented af, yes, but just because this artform is outside of your scope of awareness doesn’t mean it’s the only example. If you like shows like this, there are many other performers all over the world to check out with their own takes on the art os strip tease and acrobatics.

Violet's passion towards her art is phenomenal! I wished she could go back to touring across the world again An absolute legend! Performing in heels? in drag? doing stunts? PERFECTION! But I wish she can have a safety harness on next time, I was on edge the whole time

I was lucky enough to see Violet perform this live as part of her 'A lot more me' tour in 2019. Needless to say her performance was beyond sickening, her level of artistry and talent are truly jaw dropping 👌👑
Its funny how we just expect her to *be* legendary and exceptional and then not treat her like she is one. I know Violet is very respected but I still believe there's more credit due. This is beyond drag, imagine a pop star doing this at the VMAs. We as a society are literally lifting up tiktokers and social media stars, at the same time ignoring talent and passion. Kudos to her, because if I was her I would be raging.

It got on my nerves because way too many of my fellow Americans have a problem with trying to tell other grown ass ppl how to run their life, so I said "She is Violet Chachki, and as u can see it takes a lot of money to be her, from the clothes, jewels, and the things she does on stage!" "There's no other queen doing what Violet does which I call "Burlesque & Cirque du Soleil" so if Europe realizes her worth and doesn't just expect her to work for less, then she deserves to be over there?" 💯👑💎

I'd love to live in Violet Chachki's mind sometime to see her creative process. She is just so incredibly inspiring, talented, unique and creative. Her looks and aesthetics are always on point. Nobody else does it like her. She's a true legend.

when the video cuts to a giant violet on screen in the background at "come on be my lover," I was totally drawn in. the lighting, the mood, her outfits, the whole presentation is just so spot on. what a delight. I keep coming back and rewatching this. I'm also thankful to violet drawing attention to this song because it's probably my new favourite bop!
