This week we finish off the 1800's violin and start work on the 1900's violin! We encounter the Professor and his cello, read a couple of anecdotes, then proceed to a Hebrew Minute and Freddie's Chat. Enjoy!

What an interesting week. I really like the border on the Pochette and love the stories. What a beautiful harmonium. Nice work, Mr. Pinch! Your Secretary will look fabulous filled with old letters and documents. What a find. Stupidicus.

Thank you Tim! I always look forward to your comments. We are praying for you. I have gotten the secretary almost completely waxed. It really is bringing out the wood grain and making it look much richer. We pray you have a blessed week!

Thank you for another interesting video. The stories were funny. Looks like a lot is going on in the shop. We've got some hot weather here, but things are hopping around here too. We had someone working on our new sidewalk and also working on the deck! Thanks, Freddie for showing that video! Can't wait for your 200th episode! The Hebrew Minute is from Psalm 78:72.

I enjoyed watching you work on my violin, Cheryl. And I’m amazed you found so many cracks! No wonder it sounded so breathy. And a real bass bar! I can’t wait to hear it.

Thank you for putting together yet another episode full of variety and interest. It was good to see the Professor working on his bass bar. He'll be closing up very soon now I would think. Your secretary/bureau looks like a real find. Plenty of happy refurbishing ahead of you I'm sure! God bless your coming week, Cheryl.

So what I thought was my grandmother's pedal organ was really a harmonium? It was quite tiny, with dark carved wood. Thank you for sharing the work on your harmonium. Sounds beautiful. Meticulous restoration.

@@isaiah45.3 Thank you for your kind comments. It might have been a harmonium or an American reed organ, depending on how the reeds are winded.

@@MrThomasPinch You're most welcome. Sadly, it is no longer in the family, and I can't remember the name of the maker. Looked online to see if there was a photo of something similar, and could easily have gone down a rabbit hole, reading up on reed organ restoration! I have rescued a few vintage Singer sewing machines, so can understand the desire to bring something so well made back to life.
