Thank you for this great video! If more violin learners would sing, they would internalize their learning quicker and play more from the heart. I took singing lessons in college but violin was my main. My voice teacher said violin players always sing in tune! I guess that's because they have to listen to play in tune! Best wishes!

I’m in 6th grade and In school we learn orchestra in the 6th grade is the 2nd year we have to play it and recently I moved which means I don’t have my violin anymore because it was in scholarship and since school ended I can’t get another scholarship in the new school so I want to catch back up and start from the beginning my old orchestra teacher said I have talent and I always got a 4 which is the highest score in grades for orchestra on my report card so while I’m saving for a new violin I’m gonna watch your vids and also I get 4s in music class my music teacher said I am the best at singing I was also in honor choir for a bit so I’m hoping to learn a lot from this thank you

Hello, this is probably out of topic but I just need to ask for help since I have a hard time reaching the notes on the E string. I've been playing the violin for a month, and I was able to correct my bad habit of supporting the violin with my wrist. But now I have trouble with the E string notes, I can't seem to get the fretting (?) right. :( I'm self-taught by the way, and I won't be getting a teacher until summer.
