Hi just got this Viper Double Burner Propane Stove for us to use in the van / woods /coast well just about anywhere this is just a quick Review and Assembly
Thank you sir, I was searching a long time today for the purpose of the screw with no success, you answered and showed it's purpose in easy to see and understand detail. I use a large canning pot to boil almost 5 gal. of (camp shower) water and I once noticed someone elses stove heat it to shower temp much faster than mine and I couldn't figure out why. Now my camping friends can have hot shower water faster to wash away the fire smoke and mosquito repellent odors. These types of stoves, a rechargeable shower, and a shower tent makes every camp a better experience.
Thanks you very much, really appreciate your help mine is another brand but didn't came with instructions either, funny. A big like from Puerto Rico the colony of the United States in the Caribbean.
Thanks mate. Just received mine and I thought the same about it. Thought this can’t be right. Mine was missing a few bolts but no big problem. I’m sure to find some somewhere
Hi Mark, not sure if you’ve sorted you wobbly legs yet but if you loosen the screws on the burners and tweak their position your legs should level up. Worked for me :)
Really struggling with those types of burners. Especially in adjusting the flames from yellow to blue. I discovered quality of the hose & gas cylinder regulator make a huge difference !
You may have the wrong propane regulator on the single burner .Portable tanks require propane pressureregulation. Sometimes a low pressure regulator is built directly into the gas appliance, but more often is installed on the portable tank itself. ... High pressure regulators regulate the output pressure from 1 psi to as high as 60 psi. What is the difference between a high pressure and low pressure propane regulator? Differences Between Low- & High-Pressure Propane Burners. Low-pressure propane burners regulate gas intake to about 6 ounces per square inch, whereas high-pressure burners regulate gas intake tobetween 1 and 60 pounds per square inch.
I just ordered one from bbqguyes 3 burner I think I like the build of your stove more. V part the holds the pots on yours appears to be cast iron instead of angle iron Like mine. Not sure how much better it will hold up I guess time will tell. Thanks for your video I wasn't sure at 1st what to do with the Spring that attaches to the bolt That regulates the air to fuel ratio. Did you order your sove from Amazon? I saw it on Amazon before I ordered mine as a discontinued item. I purchased mine with the regulator hose And 3 burner stove ship to my front door for $82. I think the stove alone was like 50 but I got a 10' heavy duty hose. I didn't notice a propane regulator On yours but I did notice that it was burning a little bit Orange. Not sure because you are missing the regulator or that you don't have the air to fuel ratio dialed in. Mine is 100% blue with not the slightest bit Orange. Not sure if it's because of the high end hoes and regulator I think it's a hurricane brand.
Thanks for your video, i was convinced my single one received today was missing parts...How does the gas not escape from the holes by the connection... presuming its pressure fed to the burner...thanks again would be great if you can respond to my query?
Hi,your 1st burner is simply a low pressure burner, about 30mar, or 5 to 6 kw..Altho your new one only has a 37mbar regulator, could run the burner from an adjustable regulator, what does the people you bought it off say ?
@@MrMeltedwellies Which model & who did you purchase it from? I am in Cornwall, so most likely will order the same one for my single ring. I intend using it to boil my homebrew mash as new hob is induction.
I got mine but single burner. I puzzled how gas no escape through the joint between valve and the stove iron, as there is big gap and no metal rod going inside... hope this is safe..
@@simonduffy99thanx for the explanation, now i know that ut it was designed like that but i turned my new bought one on today and the it was very windy it was burning fine but then where the hole is it started flaming , i presume it was because it was to windy 😂, i turned of the darn thing i thought , I'll just cook inside with my indoor stove and Google later on how the outdoor burner works and read your venturi comment😊 , still could be a hasle though if its to windy😂
Holy mother of god…did the manufacturer actually send and sell a unit expecting their victims..er customers to assemble the burner assembly? That wasn’t dangerous enough, perhaps a band clamp to tighten a rubber hose to a bomb!!! Is this Al-Qaeda’s new business model? Why install them roadside when the can jut send them through Amazon….yikes
