VIPER Lunar Project Canceled: NASA's Largest Mistake of the Decade

• the Volatiles Investigating Polar Exploration Rover (VIPER) was a lunar rover designated to study the water and other volatiles on the lunar south pole. VIPER went overbudget, and NASA unfortunately decided to cancel it. This is probably one of their biggest mistakes this decade because it's crucial that we know what resources are available to us before we land humans back on the moon. Especially since we have never been to the lunar south pole. By canceling VIPER NASA saved $84 million, but they plan on spending another $323 million on a mass simulator that will simulate the mass of the Griffin Lander.
Letter To Congress
• A bunch of NASA supporters put together a letter that will be sent to Congress. This letter is asking Congress to keep the VIPER mission as it's critical for the Artemis Program. The letter already has 2,000+ signatures. The link is in the description if you want to sign it.
