Holy shit dude! This bike is stunning! Totally modern looking yet still looks like a Virago. Yamaha needs to hire you to redesign a Virago so they can bring it back. V-Stars are shit IMO.
thnx mate;) Sometimes it was me staring for hours at the bike until i had an idea what i wanted to do with the bike. A long process but it was worth it.
Man this bike is so beautiful. Congratulations and respects for a great job. I just got as heritage Yamaha Virago VX750 after my beloved father. You inspired me to work on it and make it legendary! Regards from Poland
Very best bike I have ever owned and wish I still had was my 1990 1100 Virago. I had some forward controls made for it and it was perfect. {a few other cosmetic things of course}. You are an amazing artist, thanks for sharing.
You just gave me hope! I recently bought an XV750 '82 that was modified to bobber, unfortunately, the project was not finished by the previous owner. So after watching your video, I finally found what I wanted to do with the bike. Thank you so much!
@@otzie3299 Hey Boss, what seat and side panel is that (Side panel says Yamaha), where did you get your fenders and rear light combos as well? I REALLY, really like the flair you have on this build and am remodeling a 85 virago 1000cc
Gorgeus design, beautiful work and a great outcome effect. Respect bro for your effort. I plan to buy a virago 1100 at the end of this season and make the visual part to follow me style too. Your project from what I saw so far on youtube is the best matching to mine one :) Was a pleasure to view it. Cheers man!
i also made a lot of changes to a 1995 vn 800. made my own seat in very similar fashion . you did much better on finish of upholstery. but it is so comfortable now.
Unusual model 1985 XV750 SE ? first generation engine ( old style starter )carbs and ignition in twin shock chassis . Next model had different carbs and starter . very nice project bike , looks amazing , a lot of hard work .
Jep its a xv700. They were built along with the xv1000 model. In 1984 and 1985. The xv1000 had the new starter style but the 700 kept the gen 1 system. The gen 2 starter style engine was changed in 1986 on the xv700.
@@otzie3299 yes its not often seen , a rare bike . you make a great job with the rebuild . i have factory standard 1981 XV 750 SE and XV 750 (first gen ) hard tail frame chopper . keep them living :-)
Wow! Heel heel heel knap gedaan.
Hi, compliments for your great work, i should made a bobber for me on base virago. I watched many videos and this is one of the better for idea to restailing virago. If i Will bay a virago i write you for questons 😊
This is EXACTLY what I have been picturing in my mind to do to mine!! Do you happen to have a picture of the wiring diagram you made up yourself? Unfortunately I need to make a harness from scratch due to this bike being hack job.
Hi Otzie, your bobber looks great! Rebuilding a XV1100 myself and got really inspired. Can I ask what rear fender and licence plate sidemount did you use? Drive safe!
Thnx mate! It's a harley ( sportster I think) bare custom rear fender, i cant seem to find the supplier of the side mount because the company doesn't exist anymore. I bought it from ebay and the build was made for the virago. You could try looking around while trying search terms on ebay;) good luck!
Hey otzie je bobber is echt dik geworden man !
@@pathfinder112 thnx mate;) i don't have the plans for it just did it on the go and made it from scratch. But the schoks are 290 I think. And it also depend on how high you mount the rear fender. The height is equivalent to the height of a Honda rebel
@@otzie3299 So cool, thank you mate! Such a great work with the seat too, any advice for this, once you've melted the harleys seat's base onto the virago, how do you reattach the foam/seat to it? You're the only person that managed this trick according to my research, can you tell us a bit more about this one, please? Thank you again mate,
God job man , really it's a wonderful. I have some questions if you can give you email address so I can text you because I have the same motorcycle. Thanks
