@@blarmy827 there’s many cultural similarities between china and korea due to the close proximity so there’s not really any point trying to separate them because at some point douyin makeup and korean makeup does crossover with each other
No, the makeup style isn’t Chinese or Korean. It was populated in Korea yes, but the makeup style was also populated in douyin. Nobody owns this makeup style, stop categorizing them by countries. These makeup styles weren’t even meant to be stereotypical. They’re both not Korean and Chinese, since we don’t even know where it really originated. All we know, is that it became popular from Koreans and Chinese, that’s it. That alone, isn’t a valid reason to call this makeup style “Chinese makeup” or “Korean makeup”.
Maybe the nose and chin need more blending? Because to me it looks like when you have to wipe your nose too much because you have a cold. And a pink goatee. Or maybe scratching it too much.
