@@sunnyday_lemonbars exactly there is a legal obligation. I find that now I stop watching people who are sponsored. Or sponsored posts. I clicked on this not realising it was. I don't think I've ever felt "influenced" by anyone on the internet before this. You're genuinely a good influence in my life. I feel I can't sleep without doing my skincare routine now. And I've ignored my skin for 25 years now to the point where I went to Sri Lanka without a sunscreen! 🙈 So yeah thank you for saving my skin. 😂
Same.... Even if it's the middle of the night when I'm heading to bed and I forgot to do my skincare routine earlier - and I feel like crying at the thought of being up 10 more minutes - I cleanse and moisturize. Because_of_James.
Honestly though. After watching him, I slap on suncreen even though the only sun exposure I get is the 30s walk from my apt to my my car and the 1 minute walk from the car to my classroom. I can't believe I used to parade around Southeast Asia on my vacation without sunscreen and face covering /shudder.
I love how you set an example for how influencers can be open and honest about sponsored content and things like that. Like the little symbols. Doing great James! Thanks for being here! 💜🖤💙✌🏼
I want to meet the woman that birthed the 3 most funny, talented, and genuine gentlemen Iv EVER come across in my 47 years. All 3 of you are THE highlight of my week and the sole reason I have not committed any homicides yet. I was thinking about checking out Saturday skin thank you for your opinion and info 💜💜💜
Jenn, my thoughts exactly. There is so much love from them all. I once asked about it too because either they had a great childhood full of love or they raised themselves and each other with love. I'm leaning to the former though and hope Mum is featured one day.
You and your brother are seriously the only skincare/beauty influencers that I trust when it comes to sponsored videos. You two are so authentic and never bend the rules just to catch a check! That's super admirable, keep up the great work James you're the best
I LOVE Innisfree's jeju cream and it's the moisturizer I keep going back to because I just can't like others enough as much. It's non-comedogenic, my sensitive skin loves it, and the GLOW it leaves is just.... bless 🥺
James! Just wanted to thank you for always talking about skincare as progression over perfection ❤️ I have really been going through it over quarantine and your videos have helped me learn to love myself and enjoy the self care process, instead of hurting myself trying to achieve perfection. You have no idea how grateful I am to you! 😘
I went through a depressed phase recently where I didn't care for myself at all, finally I'm starting to look after myself again and James and Hyram have really helped my depression with their calm, upbeat personalities and their skincare recommendations; I'm all about science, so I appreciate how they look into ingredients rather than just how a product feels on first impression, and they evaluate products individually and make suggestions based on skin type. I've tried makeup off and on and it's just not for me (lipstick is the only thing I enjoy using, it doesn't take long to put on and my favorites always look how I expect them to, unlike everything else. Even eyeshadow and foundation formulas that I like never give me consistent results thanks to user error), but skincare is for health not just a look for a few hours, and I find the routine much more calming than makeup where I'm striving for a particular look...
I’ve been using the Saturday skin yuzu overnight mask for about a 2 months now and I’m loving it. It feels so refreshing and moisturizing at the same time.
I ADORE the Saturday Skin glycolic toner. It's phenomenal. Works so well. Glacier water cream is awesome, the yuzu and also the peeling gel is also really good too. I'm a huge fan of them. If anyone here hasn't tried it, then please do It's awesome.
I love seeing you try and genuinely like new products. I don't always buy them right away but you're always honest about recommendations and i never feel like you're trying to push products on your viewers. We appreciate this so much, James. Thank you!!
@@JamesWelsh Oh, I get the products just not right away😂😂 I wait until I have 2-3 empties and then, BOOM! I now have the Saturday Skin Glycolic Acid in the Sephora cart because I finally ran out of The Ordinary one. Baby steps because "perfection doesn't exist."
I started using Saturday skin last month and really like a few of their products now. The face wash, niacinamide serum, and vitamin c overnight mask are great. I'm oily sensitive skin and no issues
At 28 you got me to finally start taking care of my skin! I never owned a face wash before and now I have 5 different brands of various products, a whole dresser top of skincare! Last couple.months have been fun and I'm broke lmao
Same for me (the age too)! I also love how James collaborated more over the year with Robert so we get both of them talking about skin care and makeup in one go
I just started my skincare journey along with my weight loss journey to improve my self-care and your videos are so incredibly helpful! I'm a person who went years of barely washing my face outside of the shower, hearing you explain things so clearly and recommend products for every skin type is awesome! So glad I found your channel
The Versed gel cream is my favorite moisturizer. So glad you tried it! I’m also in love with the Versed Cream cleanser for acne. It is actually really soothing for my acne!
First man, after my dad, that changed my life for better❤❤❤ thank you and your voice I can hear if I feel like skipping morning and night routine, my skin loves you 🙏🏼❤️
This is why you continue to be my favorite skincare/beauty RU-vidr, honest, transparent, so incredibly knowledgeable, sweet, and not to mention, your videos and advice have completely transformed my skin. I always need to know if something is Hyram AND James Welsh approved.
I tried the Saturday Skin Sleeping Mask and it was pretty nice, however a K beauty dupe which is half the price ($15) is the Some By Mi Yuja Niacin Brightening Sleeping Mask. It has an identical texture, 5% Niacinamide, 70% Yuja extract (vitamin C), and Arbutin.
Three Ships Purify Aloe and Amino Acid face cleanser. I got a sample of it in my Ipsy bag and I didn't expect it to be any big deal but it was freaking amazing. It's soothing, it didn't dry me out and it smells like a cup of freshly brewed tea. It's so good.
As a combination skin person, I really like that innisfree cherry blossom jelly cream. It's so refreshing and lightweight. It gives me that dewy-ish look but it also feels matte.
I bought the St. Ives watermelon cleanser and the moisturizer because you said it wasnt aweful and it was on sale. I was so pleasantly surprised. My 9, 11 and 13 year old all use it and their skin looks so much brighter and way less blemishes. I use it whenever I am in a hurry and just need a quick wash and moisture before bed. I still look like Baba Yaga but no breakouts from the yuck and grease on my skin from work. So grateful for all your help!
A product that I didn't expect to love is the La-Roche Possy soothing protective shower gel. It can be used on the face, body, and is gentle enough to use on baby skin. I use it to wash my face and it washes the grease and sunscreen off, is foamy (has sodium laureth sulfate), but does not leave me feeling stripped. It has glycerin and sweet almond oil. For me, it is gentle enough to use alongside .05% tret!
That Saturday Skin Yuzu Vitamin C Mask >>> I’ve NEVER been so impressed with a skin care product, until I tried this. I had some really bad hyperpigmentation and I saw results overnight! My skin is back on track to perfection!
If you haven't already, you should try the Primera Clean Berry Lip Mask! I use it every single night, and it really saved my lips. They used to split and bleed while I slept (big yikes). I've been purchasing it for about 2 years now, and the little tubs do last quite a while! It's a little heavier, but it's an exceptional product!
I've been using the Saturday Skin glacier cream moisturizer for 2 months and my skin has literally never felt or looked better... The yuzu mask was the first product I tried as well and I also love how it makes my skin feel, but the best part about it is the SMELL. Like goddamn it smells like the freshest orange juice with a hint of lemon rind its so amazing and I never had any sinus headaches with it like I usually do with many products with synthetic fragrances 😭 its pretty thick and takes a little while to absorb through the skin for me, so at first try I wasn't sure if I liked it, but the next day my skin was like hey you better not stop beech look at this amazing thing that happened I feel amazing. Its on the pricier side of what I want to spend on skincare, but so far 1 container of the moisturizer has lasted for over 2 months of constant use during winter. It's been so worth it for me.
Saturday Skin is soo slept on. Every product i end up trying by them i fall in love with. They have a product I think its called likr Rub a Dub which is like YoGlow from Huda's skin care brand but the Saturday Skin one is so much more gentler and just all around better. I even got my 65 year old mom loving it, such a great product and brand all around.
I just bought the Versed resurfacing mask and I thought it was really good! Wasn’t expecting it to perform as well as it did. It smoothed my face and my breakouts have lessened within 24 hrs. Idt it’s revolutionary but a very good enzyme intro mask. I think you’ll like it
I loooove the versed moisturizer but in my opinion, it’s kind of expensive for the size of the product but I have sensitive skin that can sometimes get random rashes and the moisturizer calms it down. It’s amazing.
I love innisfree but I hate the cherry blossom line. It just dries my skin and makes it itch. I personally adore the green tea, black tea and pomegranate line.
If you liked the Yuzu mask, definitely try Saturday Skin’s Waterfall Glacier moisturizer!! It’s so hydrating and gives my skin that glass skin look, I LOVE it!
I bought the Melatonin Lip Mask based on this video description - I haaaated the La Neige one so I said I would not buy any other, but this one is so so good, works great and doesn't make my lips feel... sweaty 🤷♀️
I've just started using the Q+A hyaluronic acid cleanser (in Sainsbury's) and my skin has transformed in the space of a few days, I only got it as a spare to keep at my partner's house but I've changed it to my regular cleanser now 😂 Would love to see some sort of video on Q+A products 😍
I am and always have been the biggest lip product junkie. I've tried all the balms & masks, sometimes spending up to around $45!! Laneige is sh*t for me! My lips just soak it in within a minute and there's NO moisture left, just for an example. I almost gave up looking for a good one until I tried Too Faced Pillow Balm. It's the best I've used, I was shocked! I keep 4 at all times, buy them in a double pack when the go on sale (buy 1, get 1, so $23 for 2!). I can't be without it & my lips are never dry or peel since I've been using it. It's a life changer! Then I got a sample of Tarte Sea Jelly Glaze Anytime Lip Mask and it's amazing too. It's a thicker consistency but very comfortable & comes in 3 flavors, coconut toasted, grapefruit & strawberry jelly, which is the one I have and it's really good. I'm stocking up on that one & the coconut toasted during the Sephora sale. I think I'll try the Fourth Ray watermelon now, too! Thanks James!
I cannot go without a separate eye cream personally - my moisturizer can change depending on the climate outside and I couldn’t imagine just extending its “reach” to under my eyes as some of them can be really occlusive and have caused milia in the past.
recently broke down and bought the versed dew point moisturizer and it lives up to the hype. I also have the some by mi version of the night mask (yuja niacin brightening sleeping mask) and love how light and hydrating it is. my combo/oily/sometimes sensitive skin approved.
I have the Fourth Ray coconut lip mask and love it (among several of their other products)-- I use it every night. Now I want to try the watermelon one. It's always nice to have an influencer back up a love for a brand hat I've discovered on my own.
I received samples of the Kora Organics Noni Glow Sleeping Mask and the Belief Moisturizing Eye Bomb. I loved them both so much I purchased full size during the Sephora sale that’s going on now. My skin LOVED both of them. So dewy and bouncy after using them!
My Facebook feed: try this Yuzu sleep mask Me: that looks so pretty and I bet the texture is super nice, but I don't think I really need it James: try this Yuzu sleep mask Me: where's my wallet
I love the Versed dew-point gel cream as well! It's just so light and soothing 😍 you should try the skin soak rich moisture cream, I think you would like that as well!
I love that Saturday Skin sleeping mask. Best thing I've received in a BoxyCharm yet and will 100% get it again when mine is gone. I find a little goes a long way. So worried it would be sticky but once it soaks in it's so smooth.
I love your channel so much and really appreciate how much good content you’ve been coming out with lately!! You must be working very hard so thank you, and I love how many new recommendations you give I’m always finding new stuff to try. Love it so much!!!
I was surprised by how much I liked the bulldog sensitive moisturiser! I bought it on a whim because it was on offer for £4 for 100ml and the ingredients seemed good. And it turned out to be such an effective lightweight gel moisturiser!!! It's super hydrating and calming on the skin ☺ I think you'd actually quite like it
Yes! I love the Fourth Ray lip masks and I keep telling people about them but no one listens to me, a random person on the interwebs. lol. When I wake up in the morning, I can still feel it on my lips and they were perfection all winter! I have rose, coconut, and strawberry. Guess I need Watermelon too
James, I'm sure you have tried the versed resurfacing mask, but in the event you have not....TRY IT! It is very nice and does give your skin a healthy glow after.
I have skin almost identical to yours and I love the versed rich moisture cream for a bedtime moisturizer! It’s a bit “basic” lol but it works great with my oily skin and easy to access at target.
I genuinely love how you're transparent about your ads/sponsorships. It makes me trust you more! Thank you for this video, James. Also, I've seen people use the Versed Press Restart Gentle Retinol Serum. Any thoughts on this?
I'd like to see you discuss the glow hub products. They've helped my skin stay hydrated but not greasy. Only using the blueberry cleanser and peach gel moisturiser but looking into the other stuff when I get used to the products.
The versed dew point moisturizer was a staple for me in the summer months. I like most of their products: their sunscreen, rich moisture cream mosturizer and press restart retinol serum especially. Might revisit thier moisturizers once i finish my klairs rich moisture cream.
Hi James! I was pleasantly surprised by Ecooking Moisturizing Mask (made in Denmark), by Innisfree Jeju Orchid Enriched cream, innisfree Green Tea Seed Serum and by Kairs Midnight Blue (when my skin is irritated). I also enjoy Paula’s Choice 1% Retinol and BHA. Thank you for all you are doing! 🖤🖤🖤
I wasn't too keen on that gel moisturizer from Versed. I loved the ingredients since there was Squalane in it but found it absorbed so fast into my skin that I didn't get that dewy feel. Had to add some TO retinol + squalene drops into the moisturizer before applying. I found the Honest Beauty moisturizer cream was better for drug store buys around the same as Versed
Hey James! BECAUSE of you (and Robert) I have learned life changing things for my face. So thanks for your honesty and recommendations! I got a bit of sunburn on my forehead and am reluctant to use my exfoliating toner etc. Any suggestions on best products to help sunburn?
Love Dewy without the greasy feeling. I can't be the princess I am old enough to be princess's mum, nonetheless I can try, right? Great Content as always !
your reactions to your descriptions makes me crease hahaha the yuzu vitamin c mask looks so good!! I was pleasantly surprised by the la Roche posay cicaplast baume, I thought it would be way too heavy for my oily acne prone skin but it’s so good I use it as a sleeping pack👌🏽
James I have to thank you for making my skin look amazing recently! I used a few of the Inkey List products you recommended and my skin has never looked better. No more maskne for me! My wallet is less thankful though!
For whatever reason, I'm shocked every time I love a glow recipe product lol I've received several of their products for review and fell in love with with every single one! For some reason it's engrained in me that they are gimmicky or something...but they aren't.
Hi James, now that you are trying eye creams, theres is this one I have been using for over 2 months: Marine Care Eye Cream form Heimish. It is light, and hydrating, it has a slight fragrance nothing that I personally enjoy, it is not perfumy but even like a clean smell. Let us know if you if you try it ;)
The klairs supple all over lotion as face moisturiser is great. So surprised at how moisturising it is without it being heavy. It’s now my go to moisturiser.
Dearest James, always loving your product reviews! I have been loving the e.l.f Holy Hydration Cleansing Balm. I'm a Banila Zero addict, but it's expensive to get in the US sometimes. The e.l.f cleansing balm is a very affordable substitution!!
