I bought it and it works good enough for longer lashes. I do go in after with another spoolie (I do that for all my mascara). It just helps clean up extra mascara with a fresh brush. UPDATE- after wearing it daily for a couple weeks, that shit started to flake off so badly. I bought a waterproof version and it did the same thing. Not worth it.
Honestly you described it perfectly with it being goopy and weighing the lashes down. I don’t see the hype, because personally it doesn’t work that well for me, and does just make them heavy and stuff. I’ve tried it many times and tried applying it differ ways, without success. Also the new maybellinr sky high the white tube idk how I feel about it. I almost love the original better and the black tube also. Maybe it will grow on me
I must admit that it did make your lashes look super long and thick. Anyone that doesn’t know you would be wondering if you were wearing a pair of false lashes or that you were super blessed with long and thick lashes Milana! Yeah, I almost only use tinting mascara because I prefer to go without mascara most days but I have pigment loss in the eyelash tips so they look much shorter than they actually are if I don't tint them to add pigment back where they lost it. My type of mascara is going to be super useless to people who have dark eyelashes without pigment loss, and useless compared to other mascaras for the people with light eyelashes that like using mascara daily.
@@christinescott5002 currently a cheap German brand's (Manhattan) called Wonder'tint. I think Manhattan is a German version of the brand Rimmel, but I am not certain. Rimmel is one of the many brands that also has a tinting mascara. The Schwarzkopf daughter brand GOT2B also has a tinting mascara. I think the brand Catrice also has a tinting mascara, or at least they used to. Keywords to search for is usually "tint" and "semi permanent". There are permanent eyelash dyeing kits and salons that permanently dye your eyelashes (I don't know how regularly that needs to get done), but I've never bothered because the tint mascaras have been good enough for me.
When I want a good curl on my lashes I use one coat of water proof mascara. That seems to seal in the curl. You have to allow the mascara to fully dry before adding another coat of any other mascara.
I love that you didn’t even mention the drama, you just did the review, and you didn’t need to hate on someone else regardless if the person deserved it or not. I was going to mute if I heard any more of it. I understand why you didn’t use a lash separator, or spoolie, and I think regardless, your lashes looked great with this mascara. I purchased this mascara after another influencer recommended it...... I love it but I have switched the brush with another one of my old mascaras. I'm still trying it out but so far so good. You looked beautiful as always and the black looks good on you 😘
I love this mascara. Doesn’t drop my lashes or clump or transfer. I use the flat side first to load then the sides to comb the mascara through root to tip. Beautiful!
Thanks for the honest review minus the drama. Seeing how this applied already makes me not even want to try it. It comes across as very spidery looking and almost like you have less lashes than you really do. I know it’s a pass for me now.
It seems like it would be good for an initial coat and the go in with a wetter formula or vice versus. It’s pretty though! I love brushes like that. Thank you for doing this!
i did both under and upper eye and it does smudge immediately if you do the bottom. the top lashes tho looks fantastic. ill stick to sky high waterproof for bottom lashes, but im making this my main for the top lashes. think it worked wonderfully.

Oh wow, I love this mascara. I haven’t experienced goopiness but maybe bc I mostly just use the hooked side and it gives me major length and volume, though I don’t notice much lift

I tried this one a couple of months ago. I did NOT like it at all! It is messy, gloopy - occasionally I remove all my makeup at night except for eyeliner and mascara. This mascara ‘removes itself’ in ugly ‘tubes’. 😖

I am looking for a mascara that endures the humid days of a city like Seattle...almost all mascaras I've tried makes my lashes down...what would be your recommendation? Girl, there’s a lot of drama going on right now with this damn mascara! Not with you! But other influencers who are allegedly sticking false lashes on the ends of their eyes after they’ve used this mascara and it’s like a whole big thing now. You probably know what I’m talking about. And all I can say, on the couple that I’ve watched, is that they should follow you for real life reviews of make up!! Because you don’t deceive us, you don’t sugarcoat anything, and you let us know if it’s a bad product or a good product no matter if you’re sponsored or what and that’s why we love you!!! The only problem with Mascara is that it does not wear the same on everybody. There is not a mascara on the planet that doesn't make me look like a panda six hours in. None of them work for me, even waterproof. MY sister can use this exact mascara, and it looks flawless on her all day long.

They always lie and exaggerate. There isn't really any new tech with mascara. It's all in brush type preference and whether you like the consistency and the formula of a particular brand.
EXACTLY! To me, this brush doesn't look like it has long enough bristles to get in there and really seperate the lashes. I'd rather use a wand like what comes with the Benefit mascara in the purple and black tube, called Bad Girl Bang.
From a glance it really does look like falsies though. I wonder what this would look like if you went through with a lash comb after or if you wiped off some of the excess product first. I have so many mascaras in my drawer to try though so I won’t be trying this any time soon 😢
I tried this because of the hype. I hated it at first, but after a couple of weeks I'm used to the brush. I like it better now, but not sure if I would repurchase. Note: I always use the L'Oreal primer under my mascara which helps with volume.
I’m wondering if anyone has ever tried to water down a mascara and tried to use a different wand or spoolie bought separately. I’m not sure what would be used to thin it out except maybe water 🤷♀️
I have short straight fine lashes. This is the worst mascara I've ever used. Just a clumpy mess that did nothing for my lashes I like the original telescopic much better. I returned this immediately lol

I literally was just SOLD on this buy at ULTA by salespeople as the most purchased & “ranked the best” by customer’s reviews. So I bought it….BUT haven’t tried it! Now, I’m not sure if I want to. lol I’m 53 & have always had long thick lashes without mascara and only needed 1 curl & coat to keep them curled & poppin all day, but as I’ve gotten older I’ve noticed that that don’t stay curled anymore. I’m in going through menopause & I don’t know if that has anything to do with it, because menopause does so many weird things to your body you just get so annoyed about! The thinning hair is the worst & I wonder if something with less collagen production has something to do with my eyelashes just dropping even minutes after curling them? I did learn a trick from my 27 yr old Daughter that has helped, most of y’all are probably much younger on here & already know about it, but I had never seen or heard it. So if you take a lighter & heat the top of your eyelash curler, it’s like hot curling your hair, it has the same effect and it keeps lashes curled longer. It has worked for me, but if you do it with mascara on, it can really mess up your look & cause the mascara to become stuck & so hard to try remove at end of day. Only do it before you put the mascara on, and you can do it a couple of times, heating the top part & curling a few times to really lift that curl & hold it. I think wearing a heavier mascara might be my downfall & I just need to stick to a few curls with the heated curler top & a lightweight mascara since my lashes are already long & full. I hope that trick works for other who didn’t know about it, but be careful & make sure you can touch it with your finger, if it’s too hot for your finger, it’s too hot for curling your lashes! So be warned, you can burn them off! But perming them at the salon gets you similar results, but I haven’t tried that. Thank You for this video & letting me know the results before trying my new Telescopic by L’OREAL. Good thing ULTA let’s you return it! 😅
Did you know that heat curling causes damage to your hair? Lashes are more delicate and fragile than hair. If you're already struggling with your lashes, using heat on them may cause more damage to them. At most, if you need some heat, I would maybe use a hair dryer to heat the lash curler a little bit rather than a lighter. If you put that hot curler on your lashes, you could literally burn them off, and possibly burn your eyelids, as well. Best of luck to you!

My daughter and I both tried this mascara, AWFUL!!!! We LOVE L’Oréal products but we think Wet an Wild brand mascara is way better and that’s not saying much. FAIL!
This is some messy mascara! The formula isn't bad but it is a nightmare to apply. Be prepared to clean up a lot of mistakes. It's a comically small comb. I'd be willing to bet a man invented this thing. And I'm sure influencers are being paid to push this because actually nothing special
Well máscaras have these little fibers that can add length, some more than others. I def think my lashes get longer with mascara because the formula usually “latches” on to the tips of my already present lashes. But it’s no miracle worker, for sure lol
mascara definitely adds length to my lashes. Thats how it works, with fibers in the fluid, coating it over and over the lashes and it gets thicker and longer.
