Honestly for brown and black skin... there are better tyrosinase inhibitors than vitamin c (better antioxidants too lol). Kojic acid, alpha arbutin, niacinamide, tranexamic acid, mandelic acid, lactic acid, azaleic acid. combinations of these will all help brown and black girlies much more than vit c for hyperpigmentation. If you still want some kinda antioxidant to pair with your sunscreen that isn't vitamin c... Q10, resveratrol, ferulic acid, vit e, niacinamide, green tea extract. Some people just dont tolerate vit c or benefit from it topically. You are welcome lol
Whenever i get alot of acne i use this routine for a week to 2 weeks. When i used it more often my skin was much better and had less breakouts. I do this and it does help my skin. Neutrogena salicylic face wash Cerave hydrating facial cleanser Vitamin c toner Good molecules daily glowing serum Cerave moisturizer. Usually it got rid of my acne and i had good skin.
I do vit c and BHA, and retinol, and ofc I use moisturizer with SPF and drink only water, and I exfoliate and use moisturizing face masks 2x/week. 1 year later and nothing. I only have hyperpigmentation no indents or anything but nothing works. I don’t pick at my acne I just get a nasty scar every time I have a pimple
It's pretty common for a teenager to get those. I am 14 and I had clear skin as far as I knew but recently I started using an oil and slept with it and my skin had severe break outs. I didn't notice it and applied it until I noticed that all these pimples came after I began using it. The second mistake I did was that I started poking pimples. I didn't want do that but seeing all those pimples on my face made me so upset as earlier my classmates used to complement me for my skin and all those led to very bad scars. My school is reopening next week. I am trying my best to fade all those but the progress is very slow.
Not all vitamin C formulas are clear. Cantabria's Endocare vitamin C is basically the same as Skinceuticals, since both contain ascorbic acid and ferulic acid, but Endocare is orangy from the factory and still works fine.
I am so glad I found this video i use a niamcimde serum and it’s from ordinary and it’s 10% and that’s why my face is always red and I was about to repurchase it but now I ain’t gonna do it thank u so much for the Recommendations Matt I love your videos
That’s exactly why I sticked with 5% because it takes time for your skin to adjust to the stronger skin care products or sometimes it’s because of overuse.
Matt, i have a question. I am 13, and i have acne and scarring. I use the SKIN vitamin C serum. Should i be using that, or do you recommend other serums for scarring
Vitamin c vitamin c !!!!! Everyone i go people tell me to use vitamin c for acne marks and dark spots, but i am so sick of it!! It causes me pimples 😭 i have so many different vitamin c serum, but they all cause me pimples
I need help, so i have acne scars, really painful acne (full on nodules), oily skin, clogged pores and milia Basically every single living problem, and idk how to treat it because 1. I dont have enough time for a 10 step routine and 2. I live in Europe (balkan) and can only buy skin care from dm (a ahop)
Hi! So i use panyoxl for my acne, and ive been told to not use vitamin c as they cancel eachother out.. is that true? And jf so, what other products could help with hyperpigmentation?
Dude, I pretty much just get all of my scars on my chin and because my chin is kind of pink it literally scars purple it’s so noticeable and I hate it😭
Gotta be patient, very patient, and the right products. There are also micro needling, and peeling which could help, though if you're prone to dark spot better to avoid peeling. Those treatements could be done at home, but going to a board certified dermatologist will ensure you it's propeply, and safely done.
@@oceaneo4603 thank you so much, i’ve had my acne scars for more than 2 years ans really looking for products as i don’t have enough money for micro needling and all that. i struggle with acne and dry skin and i’ve been using tretnion at the moment for about 2 months, trying to be patient lol
I'm a man... help😂. When and how do I use this? First wash my face with cleanser, then moisturizer, then the vitamin c? In the morning and at night? What should I do?

It depends on your skin ofc everyones different, you can try the ordinary but it may break you out or cause redness cause it's to harsh or it will hydrate your skin and leave your skin glowy and soft. In depends on your skin you can do a patch test and see if it works for you
