Very unprofessional conduct of the enquiry. How can you as chairperson be repeatedly interrupting the Minister whilst she is in middle of answering questions.

The interruption is always necessary so that these public officers will not rigmarole around questions asked by the committee members.They always try to deviate because they don't want to own up to anything that will indict them. You could see she denied saying the former first lady called her, forgetting that everything is being recording. These people have corruption in their DNA.

The simple truth is she used the money for the contractors to execute her own projects . Bad move . She should have settled all approved debts and source for funds to do her own projects or rather get approval for new projects. Very uncultured people manning positions .
One thing we all should realize from this inquiry is that Nigeria is wallowing in a disorganized system of government. Coming from the private sector, this is a disgrace, if am in this inquiry I will be weeping. This system can make an intelligent person looses billions of brain cells.

This shows that there is no continuation of government appropriation and budgets when a government ends and a new government continues. There is no accountability of budgets , no accounting, and no adequate auditing of money spent. No business or organization operates without accountability of how money is spent.

Taking a wild guess, it's a GUESS o, looks like the money meant for the contractors were used for other things that the Ministry considered "more important/high priority". The Ministry seems to be saying that if the AG's office had released ALL the money, they would have paid all the contractors.

I feel ashamed when I hear some of our representatives speak "English". Why are we sending these kinds to represent us. They no longer acknowledge the past tense in the English language.
It's more of a witch-hunt but the minister also has anger issues. She needs to understand that when people want to witch-hunt you, they are ready to see you vex. She should simply speak with sense, example: "yes and no". They will then ask "explain", they she will say what she wanted to say
