Famous ghazal singer Ghulam Ali Khan said Jagjeet Singh's voice was suited to ghazal singing.Ofcourse to become a good Ghazalgo a combination of many qualities need to come together.Jagjeet Singh's Panjabi album of Shiv Kumar Batalvis songs "Birha da sultan" was also amazing! God bless all!
You have made a tremendous effort to document Jagjit Singh's life and I am grateful for that. But may I make a suggestion without sounding critical of your production? I think that repetitive splashing of title "Main Jagjit" with that smashing sound effect is disruptive. We all know what we are watching and don't need to be reminded every 20-30 seconds. It took attention away from the content of the video. Also the continuous rolling of the film frames on the left took almost half of the space in the video. I would much rather see the artists, you and others as narrators on the whole screen. The footnotes with the poets' names were good because that is important. Please forgive me if you think these suggestions are not significant and are not worth consideration.
