I agree kl has not played in a fixed position but team management cannot do anything during 2019 Australia series he performed poorly at opening so he was dropped he game good back in England tour as a solid opener but he was injured in that series and now jaiswal and Rohit were good at opening in south Africa tour he played good at 5 but with return of pant he has to move to 6 because Rohit, gill, Virat, all right handers we need pant at 5 it was so unfortunate for him

Virat Kohli's form is a concern as he has not delivered in any formats in the recent times. Selection should be based on form and not on reputation. Kohli should be asked to go back to domestic cricket, play the Duleep Trophy and then be considered for selection for the national duty, if he proves his form in the Duleep Trophy matches. If Kohli is to be selected for the Australia Test series, he should prove his form.
