Virgil's Aeneid (Books 1-6) 

This is the second video lecture for Virgil's Aeneid. It covers Books 1-6, including the theme of pietas (duty), parallels with Homer's Odyssey, literary contexts of the characters of Aeneas and Dido, and Virgil's goal of constructing a national epic for the new Roman Empire.
