Virgin hair fertilizer has my hair stronger, longer and with less breakage. Natural hair is easier to manage and comb! I love it! I have anxiety attacks when the supply is running low... and I've been using it about 2 months!😘

I saw one video the lady put the tube in hot water and melted it and then poured it all into a container with a nozzle and used it like that. I am going to try that way!!

Hmm ... I may have to try that! Great product, but the thin metal tube is just impractical and obnoxious. They definitely need to reconsider the packaging!

Hair Diary True because my tube is split all over so when I squeeze it the substance comes out everywhere. I am going to put the tube in some hot water and then pour the substance in a small mason jar and use it like that to avoid all of this and the dangers of this tube cutting me.

I just did this with a brand new tube. I cleaned and sterilized an old hair moisturizer container and transferred the melted oil into that. It worked beautifully!

Jenny Lee does this improve the thickness of strand or hair density?. I have fine 3a/4a &4b hair and have medium/low density, I'm done with scalpy looking styles.

Hi, for me this has improved the density of my hair. My strands are the same, but the thicknesses with the added growth of new strands makes my hair thicker and I suffer hardly any breakage. it's worth buying. I hated my fine looking hair, but now I can wear it so many different styles and it's THICK!!!!

Hair Diary lanolin seals in moisture and also prevents additional moisture from getting to your hair. Petroleum Jelly also. So moisture should be added first. I was only applying to scalp. It's so oily so I'll have to decide whether to put it into her hair.

Hair grows from the scalp. You applying it to your hair doesn’t do anything for growth. That is what they were getting at. You can apply it to your hair, but even if your don’t it would not affect the results.

u can put the container in some hot water....and when it melts down (like coconut oil)...u can put it in a container of your choice.

I use virgin hair fertilizer with JBCO with Wild hair growth oil..my hair is becoming thicker n fuller...my next plan is to use the rice water shampoo and conditioner with those 3 products above...

If still using the virgin product, what i do to get it out of the tube is to put the tube in a cup of hot water and let sit til it melts. Then transfer it to a container that works for you.

I boiled some water then put the tube in it so it could melt. The I put it in a 4oz jar it do return to it thick form.

In theory, that should work. However, on the tube I had, it wasn't strong enough to pierce through the thin metal seal. So, I had to manually do it.

If you are wearing your hair out everyday, the hair on the back of the neck is getting beat up the most. If you sleep on your back, lay back on a seat (car head rest), and especially rubbing against your clothes. You may want to try covering your hair up for a while. Also, natural hair takes patience. You probably start in the front, and end in the back. Try doing the opposite and see if you notice a difference. My hair in the back of my head is the most fine. I am very very careful with it. I underhand your struggle. 😕

Didn't think about that! Whenever I use hair growth aids, I should try to remember to rotate the order in which I apply it. I usually start in the same order. LOL. Yes, fine hair is NO joke. If I didn't baby my hair, I'd have ZERO strands on my head. Sigh ...

I mix mine in a jar with peppermint essential oil and wild growth oil. I mainly use it for my nape, although I grease my scalp with it. I apply at night only....

About 2 1/2 wks ago I put a texturizer called Atone in my natural hair but it didn't take to well cause I was scare and didn't leave it on long enough so a few days afterward I applied it and left it on longer. Big mistake cause now my hair is shedding and falling when I style it. So I was wondering if this may help strengthen my hair some. Either way it can't hurt right 😆

The metal container is so thin, that wouldn't work for me without breaking and oozing product everywhere! The better (and safer) option for me was to soak the tube in a hot water bath and then pour the warmed liquid into another container until it re-congealed.

I really appreciate your in depth review of this product. I too have fine hair and it was suggested that I shouldn't use it because it will weigh the hair down so I'm glad you had good results. Also, when I get mine I'm going to squeeze it all out into a small glass jar so it is easier to use. How much does it cost? Thanks so very much!

Thank you! I'm glad my review was helpful. Yes, I, too, had the idea to squeeze all the contents into another container as well. I think it would make the application process MUCH easier. The product is pretty reasonable. It ranges from $6 - $9 a tube on Amazon. Usually, you get a better unit price if you buy 2 or more tubes. I have a link in the description bar.

THANK YOU! ;) Since you have straight hair, this might be too oily for you. If you use it, I would apply it sparingly as the product is super thick. This product definitely works on textured [type 2 (wavy), 3 (curly), and 4 (kinky/coily)] hair. Not sure about type 1 (straight) hair like yours. However, given the low cost, I think it's worth the investment. I've even been told that some men have used this on sparse areas on their beard to grow it out, so give it a try! Be sure to report back on your progress! I'm curious to see if it will work on your hair type. I think it will, but you will likely have to find a way to work around the oiliness since you have straight hair.

So I've been using this for about a week and I do like the product. I actually really like the sensation you get when you put it on your scalp. However I've realised that even after shampooing and rinsing that my hair still looks oily. It looks like I've just dispersed oil all over it! Therefore, I'm probably going to reduce how often I use it (which is nearly everyday ATM). Also, I'll only be applying this lightly onto my scalp and not my actual hair. As for length, I've not seen a huge growth, however i have noticed a slight improvement in my hairline. I'll try updating in about one month if you'd like to know how it's going with this product.

Good idea! Yes, I think Virgin Hair Fertilizer performs best as a hairline restorer. This product has worked absolute wonders on my edges in the last 2 months! I had literally brushed my edges away, and this product has brought them back beautifully. I haven't seen much growth to the length of my hair overall, either. But, I think it was worth it just to get my edges back. So, good luck, and please keep us informed.

Is this good to apply while having a sew in because I have 4c hair and I kinda lack in the whole growing part of my hair and I currently have a sew in and I thought it would be good to do this during the summer especially with a "protective style" in

Yes, it's just like any hair growth aid. If you have extensions, braids, or a sew-in, just apply to your scalp and gently rub in. 😉

Yes, this is safe to be left in the hair. It is an oil hair growth treatment, so it is intended to be applied and left in until your normal wash day. Directions state that the product should be applied to one's scalp and hair. Hope that helps!

Actually, I did apply the product to my hair AND scalp, I just didn't show myself parting my hair and applying it to my whole head (to save time). But, in the video, I actually mention my application process and show part of it. I just didn't show the whole application process. Otherwise, this video would be 40+ minutes long.

Although I have 3 different textures on my head, I have mostly 4a hair, so I think you should receive the same (or similar) results as I did. And, btw, no fabric in existence can mask THIS smell. If you don't work from home like I do, apply the product at night. That way you'll have 7-8 hours for the scent to dissipate. TRUST! ;0)

I'm 67% West African, so I'm not sure what "pure" African hair looks like. LOL. But, I think this product works well on kinky, type 4 hair. The product even works just as well on my mother, who is a breast cancer survivor. She has a looser hair texture than I do, and she has been responding well to this product. In two weeks, she received 1/2" of new growth on 70% of her head! So, I think any one with type 3 or 4 hair should give it a try.
