On February 22, the official Virgin River Instagram shared a picture of Alexandra Breckenridge & Martin Henderson in their character clothes as Mel & Jack, getting ready to film their first scene of Virgin River Season 6. It’s been two months and the production of the new season still continues in Vancouver. Meanwhile, the showrunner Patrick Sean Smith gave a lot of shocking information about the sixth season. Charmaine’s been pregnant since day one lol pls I hope they remove these unnecessary obstacles even Calvin and preacher, couldn’t care less. Just a good storyline between Jack & Mel, and Brie & Brady, even more sibling scenes

I love adding Mel's biological father. Will bring a fun outdoorsy, cultural manly handsome grandpa to the show fit Mel's kids. Mel's husbands father is a study retired banker who will be a stufffy grandpa. Plus Mel's Biological father John Nelson actor On Virgin River can get him a new Nate to add to the show. All the show needs is less drama more outdoorsy fun, bring in a horse ranch maybe Meks father can buy ( get a girlfriend) and Meks kids to grow on ranch and add a Hunky veterinarian character and pretty nurse to create more fun anecdotes.

I'm not really interested in that story either, but they are making a whole prequel series on it. I hope this means it will take less importance in Virgin River

Two options I have as well. 1 her father is dying makes the most sense but that's boring m I stuck with the siblings theory as well. I say that he had an affair with Lilly! So Eva and Cloe are her sisters and that makes the most sense, since eva showed up for a reason and there are sooo many hints that she will adopt Cloe and will raise her as her child but also as her sister! There you go

Not interested in Mels so called father and that story line. Just ridiculous! Get the original writer back. Everything changed with new writer. I'm losing interest due to waiting so long for next season. Each season seems to take a year to come back on. Too long a wait!
