I miss virgin trains I love onboard announcements them trains I wish film on onboard announcements on the train I use to travel to London euston from back to up to Glasgow Central 😞😔😪
The last time I went on VT it was a personal announcement - these announcements are so annoying and that see it say it message is really starting to grind! Good video though. Reading the comments below about WAG set - I need to take a ride on this one day!
Apart from the name changing, and a few directors changing, it is pretty much the same as Virgin trains. So how is it annoying? P.S. Yes I would have liked Virgin trains to stay but unfortunately Stagecoach (who owns 90% of VT) screwed up with the pension fund, (which is the reason why virgin lost the franchise). Had Virgin rail group (who owns 10% of VT) wanted to, they could have kept their franchise on their own (but it would involve them to invest 10x more and fix the pension issue).
@@tonywilkins6090 no you dont understand. the Voyagers are going and the IETs are coming. Is that enough to make you hate Avanti? If not, the pendolino are getting 3 seats a row Must hate it now huh?
@@hi24x For starters I would be glad the voyagers are going, not a big fan of them. IETs? It depend if avanti will listen to what feedback other TOC's had on their IETs (i.e. lighting/ hard seats), and fix those issues. "the pendolino are getting 3 seats a row" Source for your claim as I can't find anything for that. Only thing I have found is Avanti has said they are refurbishing the seats (i.e. giving them a new look) and I'm glad as VT has not refurbished them for quite a while. Regardless had Virgin Trains kept the franchise or not , the new IETs trains would be coming as it would have been part of the new franchise agreement. So at the moment I don't see any reason to hate Avanti as all of the above would have happened if VT kept the franchise.
We'll still have the Pendolinos and Super Voyagers around, but starting from the 8th December, Virgin is not going to be the one in control anymore, First Trenitalia will be taking over. www.virgintrains.co.uk/franchise-update
@@kyletheringersarcaderings7751 Yep, at least until the trains get refurbished (no guarantees there will be any changes though), they now say "Avanti West Coast" instead of Virgin with the same voice.
Virgin Trains is the best train operator in the world and Avanti West Coast will never ever get that title and are a crap and rubbish operator because its run by First Group the worst group and Trenitalia
