Virginia Tech vs. North Carolina: The Hokies moved to 4-0 in ACC play with a 4-1 win on the road against the Tar Heels. Every run in the game was done via the home run. For Virginia Tech, Bre Peck hit a solo home run in the fourth inning, Emma Jackson hit one in the sixth inning, and Emma Ritter gave the Hokies some insurance runs with a two-run blast in the seventh inning. For UNV, Abby Settlemyre hit a solo homer in the fourth inning. Hokies pitcher Emma Lemley moved to 11-1 on the season, giving up just one run and striking out 10 while pitching a complete game.
