I was considering purchasing this tricycle however I am not going to put it together myself. There is just no way I can do this. My heart just sank at this and the comments. Wow. Why in the world would anyone purchase something at this price and then assimble it. Wow. How disappointing.
Chain came wrapped around the main frame. And the rear frame just keeps popping off when I try to tighten the short chain. Never seen more useless instructions in video or paper form. There are pieces that don't have labels. What's going on viribus?
Got my box of bike bits today and spent 10 miserable hours trying to put it together. My back is in incredible pain now. I've given up and I'm taking it to a bike repair shop, which I hasten to add is over an hours drive away...Frustrated and annoyed... Your videos are way too fast, so much so I had to change the speed to watch and still no luck...So over it
This video sucks! Thank god im kind of handy and figured it out! Company definitely needs a better video if this is what they recommend! The loose chaim problem try sliding where you attached back wheel back some to tighten chain! Good luck
my derailleur will not do all 7 gears and looks bent., how do i get it replaced. and by the way, your video shows the chain coming off the gears onto the hub.
Sept 2024, different design and parts! No update to the video and instructions were not detailed. Had to takepix.of the photos and enlarge them on phone so i.could see the darn screw or whatever they were talking about.
We took our time and it took us about four hours to put it together. It is a good idea to go to harbor freight and pay to $16 and get a chain tool rather than using a pair of flyers too slowly evenly and carefully press the chain ends together. Also whoever built one where did you position you're a gearshift klove for the derailleur?
My trike is new. I rode it without power assist a few times to get the feel of it. I then wanted to use power, but the battery was dead.. I plugged it in overnight, but it will not take a charge. What should I do?????
I have been two weeks and several hours trying to get this adult tricycle together and I get virtually no help from the company. They offered me $30 for my inconvenience, and then today they offered me $25. I have watched several posted videos but the hands of the assemblers keep hiding crucial moments. Right now I cannot figure out how the derailleur assembles. Currently, the cable is getting chewed up. A bicycle shop offered to ameliorate my problem for $200. The company has sent me three RU-vid addresses and none work--they are no longer available. The paper directions are a joke and the videos are the same. My patients have run thin and I am ready to put them in the trash, but I am driven to get in touch with my federal representatives, the Commerce dept, and any other agency that will force an honest attempt to resolve my issue. I just want to get it put together. Wish I never bought this terriable piece of junk.
Assembling a bike derailleur can be a bit complicated, so it's important to follow these steps carefully: Start by installing the rear derailleur hanger on the frame of the bike. This is a small metal piece that bolts onto the derailleur dropout on the frame. Make sure it is securely tightened. Attach the derailleur to the hanger by sliding the derailleur onto the hanger and tightening the bolt or screw. Make sure it is tight enough to hold the derailleur in place, but not too tight. Next, install the derailleur cable. Start by threading the cable through the cable housing, which is a protective tube that runs from the shifter to the derailleur. Be sure to cut the cable to the appropriate length if necessary. Thread the cable through the cable anchor bolt on the derailleur, making sure it is properly aligned and securely fastened with a bolt or screw. Adjust the barrel adjuster, which is a small cylinder located where the derailleur cable enters the derailleur. This is used to fine-tune the shifting. Turn it clockwise to tighten or counter-clockwise to loosen. Lastly, test the shifting by manually moving the derailleur up and down through the gear range. Make any necessary adjustments to the barrel adjuster or cable tension until the shifting is smooth and accurate. Remember, if you're unsure about any of these steps, it's best to consult a professional bike mechanic for assistance.
Oh oh. I just got started. Print manual is worthless. Now watching videos I found online. I'll give the company credit, however, they did do a solid job packing the bike.
Worst instructional video I have ever seen!!! This bike is the worst to put together. It would not be so bad if the instructions were clear and not in speed mode. If you really want to seel more bikes maybe make a better how to video. Amazon is going to get a 1 start review on this one. Also the frame where it slides the front and back was bent on one side. Ridiculous!
The spacing across the ends of the front fork which engage the wheel axle is what I was asking about. This dimension is needed when considering front wheel ebike conversion kits. As it is, this measures 100mm.
@@viribusworkshop I went with a 500w Bafang kit. I mounted the 20A battery pack to 3/4" plywood u-clamped on the down tubes between the seat post and basket. Had to do without my front fender because the torque arm interferes with mounting and the front basket brace holes had to be reamed out a tad with my Dremel to account for a mm size difference in axles. All good though. Great work horse of a trike!
