Hey Zame, in case you aren't aware, the reason the FRLG tracks are a different pitch is because the GB synth channels aren't able to play notes low enough when in the original key, it's a hardware limitation. The audio engine is hardcoded so that any note lower than C2 (in this song's case, notes that would have been B1) will play back as C2.

yess, E major sounds way better than F major. The original from RBY was infact in E major but I was sad when they changed most of the E major pieces to D or F major in FRLG.

Leaf green is a game I don’t hold with as much respect as I should be giving it, given it was my first look into the Pokémon world outside of the anime. I wonder who has the cartridge now and I hope they’re making well experiences for someone out there... I also hope they chose squirtle and name it squirrel, no reason in particular.

I'd request for a re-pitch three of the Sevii Islands soundtracks. For the third Sevii Islands soundtrack (based on Violet and Olivine City soundtrack), it was just as simple as raising the frequency by one octave then it was literally perfect when I did it as a test.

FRLG version is pitched up by 1 semi-tone, I pitched it down so it has the original RGBY tuning.

The original FRLG version is in F major. This version is one semitone lower, key of E major. ... In non-musical terms, if the piano keys go from deep to squeaky, this version is less squeaky. 😅
