I would say rather, this is the Hardest to Learn Virtua Fighter Game. You have a Evade Button, Wich can Combinate for Side Step Attacks!

Nope, Dreamcast but the CGI FMV was made for the canned SEGA Saturn version and is unlockable in the DC version.

It’s because of its lack of story, character development, cheese lines( don’t mind them ) & more villians. Designs aren’t appealing by a casual auidience. What it needs is a reboot with all this + new hit sounds and polish. If they can do that then I feel it’ll be a great fresh start.

@@silentman99 Didn't need any of those things at the time. Virtua Fighter was literally country miles ahead technology wise than anything else on the market at the time. Those of us old enough to remember when this game first dropped, were just awe struck by the awesome visuals, the physics introduction with moving hair, eye tracking. That was just the visuals, not even getting on to the perfect pacing of the game, motion captured animation and sheer personality the game oozed. Then there was the music........ You didn't need lore when the characters and fighting styles looked so alive on that arcade screen and this particular release was often on the massive sit down screen. This was a time when character bios were enough and the actual gameplay carried the rest. This game had no right bringing what it did to the table in 1995, it was ridiculously ahead of its time.

@@Longlostpuss at the time no. But now it’s different. I’m happy for the success they got back then. 1st 3D fighter ever. Also I’m not talking about just the story. You do need story. No matter if many about care it or not. I’d personally like to see the cast of VF to interact with each other + see there strengths instead of gameplay. Anybody can be good in gameplay. I just want devs to do something new. gameplay is obvious ( even though they do well on it ) but I want them to some different things. More villains I’d like to see. Not just dural. I don’t want them to keep shenmueing things. Things that worked 24/5 years ago. Then still keep doing the same formula in 202 whatever.
