The idea behind this house was simple and straightforward: a residential structure that transitioned from the indoors to the outdoors to create several introvert settings. It was like assembling Lego pieces, juxtaposing them, and leaving several vacuums for breathing corridors. This helped build effective airflow systems because the voids were self-created and served as a natural transition. Brick jaalis were introduced to establish microenvironments and formally close off separate regions within the building language in order to maintain seclusion. Through a variety of points, lines, and surfaces, transparent space-defining and partitioning were being experimented with.
