my wife Heather and i scored 58/60. our guess for the tie breaker is 76. In the general knowledge round the study of feet is podiatry. Pedololgy is the study of soil and haggis is spelt with 2 g's
I got 42 this week and the bonus is 74 hot dogs eaten by Joey Chestnut at the Nathan's 4th of July hot dog eating contest. In the gk round I knew a lot of the answers due to common knowledge. For instance I knew the first one because where I work we use the phonetic alphabet to communicate with the truck drivers. And I again used my knowledge of root words to break down pedology to know it was the study of feet and Mouna Loa is one of the most active volcanoes on earth.

I got 43/60 the best I have ever done so far. Annoyingly I said the right answer to myself a couple of times but talked out of it and went with something else but hey ho lol 😂

I was gutted to see how close I was to the leaderboard last week having never made it and an off week this time didn't help. Only scored 30 but had fun playing as always. Thanks for a great quiz and have a great week. Oh and I'll guess 50 for the tiebreaker

48/60 after an atrocious picture round! Only *4/10* on pictures, 9/10 on entertainment, 18/20 on famous non-humans, 9/10 on national dishes, 8/10 on GK. No hope of any significant spot this week. But for the sake of it, I'll say 98 for the hot dogs.
Thanks for the shout out Dale! Very poor effort from Markie and Suzette this week at 46/60. Not that it will be required, but I've seen this guy on the TV eat Hot Dogs at the Annual 4th July competition every year, and I think his record is around 75.

to say feijoada is brazilian is the same as saying french fries are french or pizza is american. Just because it is popular in that country it doesn't mean it is from that country. feijoada is a portuguese dish exported to brasil by portuguese immigrants. By this logic... tiki massala is an english dish.
Hi Dale, we got 58/60 and we think Joey Chestnut ate 76 hot dogs! Really loved the national dish round (paella is one of my favorites) and the non-human round, my son Nevin helped us out in that round, his favorite was Groot😅! Thanks for another great quiz Dale. Hi Dale I'm back I've been a bit sick over the last two weeks, I had a pretty bad coughing attack and I'm pretty sure that I broke a rib and a few days later I got the shingles for the second time in my adult life so in full transparency as I done this quiz I was slightly high on pain meds. I did manage to get 59 I got that ridiculous one with the 7 KLM vale wrong ( can you imagine the logistics in handling that length of vale ). Once again a great quiz thank you, I also had an idea as I noticed that you have a core of very intelligent followers so I was thinking if you have ever considered doing a quiz with highly advanced questions it would be interesting to see the outcome I know that I would like to participate in it anyway just a thought from me. The tiebreaker I watched a doco a long time ago with weird records being broken and I'm not sure but I think it's 41 but not sure if it was just the sausage or sausage and bun. I love the idea and it’s something I have wanted to do (as a separate quiz). The only problem I have at the moment is time.
