I did this with my Son who is 38 1/2 and he did really well in each category. However, l, who prided myself on winning Trivial Pursuit for years and being good with Trivia in general, came to realize that yes, yes it's true. You DO start to lose brain cells after 60!!!😂 I just thank god we did this at his home and not anywhere in public where my shame could be seen!! 🤫🤭 But we had a GREAT time and l will look for more of these pub quiz videos. I just discovered this channel. Great stuff! Tried the last 5 quizzes and scored pretty evenly with 48, 48, 42, 47, 46. Naturally my aim is now to break 50.

Seems to find it hard to get the final 5th answer in the Connections round the last few weeks. When we see the answer it is obvious, but maybe its the time crunch. Maybe make the connector a bit easier? Cheers!
On second thought .... instead of an easier a question 5 in connector, why not give the answer for that round after the end of the final round? That gives everyone more time to work on it! What say you, Master Dale?? :)

Playing solo again! A really good set of questions for me this time; finally getting into the 50+ club with a score of 54! As for the tiebreaker, I'll go for 42.

58 for Stuber Tiebreaker guess is 53 And while I got the answer you were after, it can be argued (and was argued by our local quiz master this week) that the standard naming convention for The Gambia includes the The, so starts with T. Similarly for The Democratic Republic of the Congo.

Let down as usual by the Entertainment round and this weeks by Disney too. 10/10 for languages though (I thought por favor is Spanish, Portuguese is Faz Favor but I could be wrong). I got 46 this week. For the bonus I think you'll get 55. I loved the languages round I got most of them right I only missed the Afrikaans one. Your pronunciations weren't that bad at all. Good luck in your quiz.
I actually got Mrs. Potts voiced by Angela Lansbury straightaway as I worked in Disneyland Paris and she was over to dub the French version in the recording studios backstage. She speaks french so they wanted her to re-record her parts in French. Her grandkids went on star tours where I worked while she waited for them at the exit so we were chatting. Same with Robin Williams was over to promote Aladdin, he doesn’t speak French but went on Star Tours with his son and told me he used to work in Disneyland before he was an actor along with Michelle Pfeifer who was Alice in wonderland 😂

@QuizMasterDale I have not done that one this week, I go to several different ones and the pub that does that one is a bit out the way so it is a more of a rarity so feel free to use the questions. And I guess that is where you get the inspiration for some of your rounds. And I bet you did OK.
