I'm one of the "whingers" that called out the wrong answer. You need to listen to the question again. The question was what type of hat was Lincoln known, for wearing. Lincoln was known for wearing a stove pipe and not a top hat. Top hat is the wrong answer.
@@leejeffrey6672 I heard, and whilst the actual answer is as you said, it is actually a sub type of top hat so top hat not incorrect. It is meant to be a fun thing and going on about a minor thing spoils that. The question didn’t ask for specifics just the type, so top hat would be an acceptable answer.

Van Gogh didn’t cut off his left ear. He cut off only a small part of it and please spare me some of the links that say otherwise. I was just in Auvers-sur-Oise last weekend where he spent the last 70 days of his life and the infamous ear incident happened. It was thoroughly and explicitly covered.
Hi Dale - another cracking quiz as always. Wife and I got 54/65 - enjoyed the connections round - we think that 2 of these each week would be a welcome addition. We also surprised ourselves with a 10/10 on the airport round. Shame we got a few general knowledge and a bunch of years wrong for the tv/film round...not that I think it will matter, but we guess 650 for the bonus.

Adam Fam got 47, our guess is 218 people in space. Love the connection round. Although the hat threw everything off for the connection because it was definitely a stovepipe hat, the taller version of a top hat. Winston Churchill was better known for the traditional top hat. 😉 Did not care for the airport codes, it blew our score. 😢 Might have done slightly better with match the code to the city but that is just us. We very much enjoy your quizzes.

7, 10, 10, 10, 10, 8=55 (I have been to 6 of the 10 airports listed in round 5) Tie breaker-tough question. Different agencies have various definitions on where the boundary is for "space". Many have gone up in rocket powered spacecraft launched by several nations and many others have gone up in commercial craft both by rocket or other means including balloon. So my guess is 1,500.

I lost track of the score because I was so bad. But I think it was 42 or so. I am scared of flying, so I try to get everywhere by train or car if possible, so I was not very good with the airports except for the very obvious ones. Anyway, it's always fun playing. Thanks for putting so much work into these quizzes.
51/65 for me - some good rounds, some very rocky ones. 6/10 on pictures (I swear your 'identify this person' ones are getting harder and harder!); 7/10 on entertainment; 19/20 on TV and film (very unexpectedly as it's not usually my topic at all); 5/5 on connections; 6/10 on airport codes (my fear of flying clearly hampered me); 8/10 on GK. As usual, no real clue on the tie-breaker. I will say 254.

59/65 For team STP this week, little annoyed with ourselves as we got a few easy ones wrong. You're always going to challenge us with golf questions as neither of us follow the sport. Round suggestion is to start putting an audio section with a point for the song and a point for the artist. We believe it would be very popular. Tie Breaker guess is 652.

We have recently discovered you quizzes and love them. We live just outside of Melbourne, Florida where we have a small airport that seemed to end up in your airport codes quiz...although wondering if you meant to include another airport in Australia with a similar name instead?

Enjoying these, I got 39 on this one, solo player. Just looking at the next video, I was way off on the tie breaker! My worst round was the picture round, tough one, I think I was 0 for 5 at the start!

We got 31. Not a great week for us. Will not be surprised to see the same old names claiming to pretty much get every single question right. You must have some Einsteins watching your quizzes Dale. Great quiz though, however, we are sure van gogh did actually cut of his right ear?
It’s all about have fun, the score doesn’t matter 👍🏻👍🏻. The Van Gogh ear question probably caught quite a few people by surprise, there’s a famous painting of him and in the painting the right side of his face is bandaged, it was a self portrait that he did looking in the mirror, giving the illusion that it was his right ear but it was actually the left 😀.

Hey Dale - Natalie here from Cape Town, SA -- We love your quizzes as I have mentioned before -- we play as a family -- however - we really don't like the Connections :( Guess our minds just don't work like yours... sorry for the negative feedback - just being honest
I got 34 this week 35 with the bonus which is 550 people. I got 7 out of the 10 airport codes. In the USA there is an airport whose code is SUX(which is Souix Falls SD) i find that one funny.
