Solid review. I just ordered these, and given all the reviews I’ve seen, I’m so happy in the confidence that this is the last set of pedals I’ll need to buy.

I've enjoyed watching your review progression from your unboxing video where you were a little suspect about them, to the love you have for them now. Appreciate the comparisons to the Sprints also, I held off getting a set of those and put myself on the reservation list for these. Keep up the great content! Looking forward to a video with this and the software VRS have just released - especially adjusting that clutch pedal!
Nice review. I am using HE sprints at the moment and I can relate to a lot of your comments for the shortcomings of the sprints. I am mainly struggling to improve my trail braking consistency. It looks to be an improvement in this area for the VRS
Hi, Yes I think this is an edge that springs carry over rubber bumpstop systems, they just have much better and more consistent feel coming off the pedal. I still have not found anything better than the VRS for this.
So you moved the spacer that was behind the top washer to in front? And use the long nut touching the top washer? More preload? I’m going to try this but wanted to check. I just can’t get 100% comfortable with the VRS pedals :(. Left knee cartilage and strength issues I’m battling constantly. The pedals are amazing, but I just can’t get balance right for endurance races. Hot lap pace is good.
I noticed your braking is always around the 60-70% marker. Is this down to you and your feel of the brake, or have you set something in the software to be at max pressure 80% for instance? Cheers
Did you ever end up adjusting the throttle? I too coming from the sprints feel like it's under sprung and trying to see if I should get used to it or add more preload?
Very late to the party but how have you got so much travel with the red spring, mine feel like they barely move, what do I need to do to get it to have that much travel? Thanks
Hi. Sorry for late reply. You need to adjust the adjuster I can't check the length I had as the pedals and all my gear are currently in a 40ft container 😞 If memory serves correct it might be 32mm from the locknut to locknut. But I can't be sure. However have a play with the adjuster bar, it makes a lot of difference. Take note of the length before you adjust and then try it set longer and shorter until you find a sweet spot you like. Hope that helps. Thanks for the message. And we will be back soon. No comparison. They will be so much more consistent just due to the superb fabrication. Without even taking into account the quality of components used compared to Fanatec. If you have the budget it's a no brainer. But if V3's are all the budget that's available they are very good.
Thanks for the video. Wondering if you are still using these and how you are getting on with whatever pedals you now use? I just put my name on the reservation list. Did you do any other adjustments to what you say in the vid? They look to have so many adjustment.. but daunting haha
Hi. Thanks for the comment. I still have them on the rig. And nope haven't made any adjustments. They are perfect as they are. The only other pedal I like was the Meca cup 1's. I believe these are a fantastic pedal in terms of price and prefomance. Buty VRS have been 100% reliable. I've got friends who have switched and found a noticeable improvement in their pace. Can't go wrong with them!
@@SmokingSteelGarage thanks for getting back to me mate. Good to hear you still use and enjoy them. I haven’t even considered the Mecca’s as here in Australia they are about $500 more than the VRS pedals and from my research it just doesn’t seem like they are that much better. Any pedals that come close to VRS pedals here in Aus in quality are $2-500 more. I guess that’s enough to shut the door on any alternatives!
@@SmokingSteelGarage Yeah I think so. VRS would be in the running even if they were closely priced so the fact they are the cheapest makes it a no brainer I think. They have direct distribution here in Aus which I’d say makes a difference.
@@KHMR1SNVthat spring is perfectly fine as it is from a mechanical perspective, no need to worry about it not being “in line”. In fact a pedal hinged at the bottom will always travel in an arc, so the choice is have a spring that is arced to begin with or have a spring compress from “inline/straight” into the arc shape.
Sorry lost you in the comments, Nope, no damper kit yet. TBH they don't need it. They are spot on out of the box, just throw the soft spring in the bin directly.

Keep the red spring in. It's the harder of the two. The blue spring is too soft so you won't get the full benefits of the pedal with that. Set the tie rod length to around 40mm gap from the end of each rods where the nuts snug up to. 👍
Meca are very slightly slower. but there is very little in it. Only thing with Meca's is running Diview, its not as easy to operate. However they are more available than VRS. I loved the brake pedal on the Meca's best bumpstop brake I have used in Sim.
